FIVE STARS ....PROS/CONS re CHOC BROWNIE
I am going to start with cons.OK, so it's NOT exactly just like a brownie! If you're expecting it to be like one, you will be disappointed. But that would seem an unrealistic expectation.PROS: LOTS of themSTRONG COCOA TASTE - I like at least I am getting the cocoa fix. It's really pretty freaking good.FRESH - I was concerned as getting a box of 12, these can get hard with age. SUPER FRESH! I squeezed one through the wrapping and it was obviously fresh. Has a moistness I love.BETTER for me than a BROWNIE! - so sure, not like a decadent brownie, BUT much lower in fat and calories, higher in fiber and protein.FREAKING FILLING! - Granted there is a definite kind of fiber thing going, but not bad. But again, overall, chocolate fix, low fat, low cal, and FILLING. This and a small glass of almond milk and I'm full. Comes in handy when you don't have time or are busy and can't get to other food. Which brings me to -CONVENIENT - for those times you just can't take a break or get near other food (and vending machine doesn't count), this is SO handy to keep in your bag or deskCOST - I GOT 12 for about TEN BUCKS - DELIVERED FREE (well, yes I have Prime). Not much you can get from vending machine for change or that's as healthy.VARIETY - I have tried several flavors. Also like the APRICOT and COOL CHOC MINT (HAS CAFFEINE :-)

Delicious, Filling, Great Meal Substitute
At this size and 250 calories per bar, I have found this CLIF Bar to be a good substitute for a quick meal on the run. I often work outside for long stretches so I hate to interrupt my progress to go inside and prepare something to eat. Since I have a refrigerator in the basement I have all I need to eat and stay hydrated handy. The only drawback I can give you is the 21 grams of sugar. If you have a sugar problem this is not the treat for you. On the other hand I burn so many calories when I work outside in the Florida heat and humidity that it becomes a non-event for me. Good job CLIF but perhaps you can use stevia or some other safe sugar substitute. My back-up for this is the Blueberry Crisp bar. That is the original formulation from Clif and seems to be the most popular. It is very tasty, makes you satisfied, and might cost a little more because of the constant demand. Either one will do you proud.

my all time favorite
I am a big fan of clif bars. The chocolate brownie bars have been a blend of a snack when I want a sweet treat and perfect for any hike. I have found that these are perfect on flights as well. Depending on where I am going clif bars are always in my bookbag and ready to cover me. Especially, being vegan and struggling to find snacks in airports, these bars have been a life saver. They taste amazing and when I can I love finding these on sale.

Good price
I can't say these actually taste like chocolate brownies, but they do give me a chocolate fix. They're not as healthy, but any stretch, as a meal made of whole foods, but if I don't have time for lunch and I grab one of these it does keep me full for a few hours. A tasty snack, if not a tremendously good-for-you one, and it's cheaper to buy them here in bulk, esp. with Prime shipping, than it is in my local store.

Pricy, But Good!
Love Clif bars so much, and I think this flavor is one of the best. Consistently chewy, chocolatey, and energizing. If you want a sweet treat that actually gives you energy, try this. Watch out for the sugar content in it though, especially if you're trying to lose weight.tl;drPros: Actually delicious, not powdery or chalky as other energy bars often fall into this trapCons: Sugar content, pricey

LOOKS LIKE PETRIFIED POOP TASTES LIKE HEAVEN!
NOT AT SWEET AS THE MACADAMIA WHITE CHOCOLATE BUT THE AMOUNT OF PERFECT SWEET. IT HAS AN EARTHY COFFEE TASTE LIKE REAL SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE OR DARK CHOCOLATE(BUT WAY BETTER THAN SEMI SWEET!) NOT LIKE THE OVERLY SWEET FATTY MILK CHOCOLATE. I HAD TWO TODAY ONE FOR LUNCH AND ONE FOR DINNER. I USE IT TO LESSEN THE AMOUNT THAT I ATE FOR LUNCH FOR INSTANCE.NOT AS PRETTY AS THE MACADAMIA BUT I AM ABOUT THE TASTE NOT THE LOOKS! I HAVE TO ADMIT I HESITATED WHEN I OPENED THE WRAPPER LOL IT LOOKS LIKE WHAT YOUR BODY WOULD EXPEL AFTER EATING A LOT OF OREOS LOL. IT LOOKS BURNED BUT WAS SURPRISINGLY CHEWY LOL. I DO NOTICE THEY ARE SLIGHTLY SMALLER 230 CAL AND ONLY 40 CAL FAT SURPRISING SINCE IT'S TASTES ALMOST AS GOOD AS THE MACADAMIA. I DON'T FEEL TO BAD FOR EATING TWO IN A DAY. TODAY WAS MY FIRST DAY. USUALLY THEY ARE 260 AND 50 -60 CAL FAT EACH.OATMEAL RAISIN CLIFF BARS FALLS LIKE A BRICK IN MY STOMACH, BUT THAT IS THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT IT. TASTE WISE IT'S A HECK NO.CHOCOLATE BROWNIE IS A HELL YES!!!I WANT TO TRY CARROT CAKE AND BANANA NUT BREAD NOW!

Chocolate Brownie is delicious
This is my favorite flavor of Clif bar. Great portable, convenient and delicious energy with protein. I take these to the gym, paddleboarding, hiking, running, biking, skiing - you name it... never had any digestive issues or stomach upset when using during activities, but they are great for after a workout as well. Pretty good nutrient profile - carbs, protein, fat, electrolytes, etc, and not TOO much sugar (of course you'll have some sugar since it's an energy bar!). I like that many of the ingredients are natural and pronounceable. I generally don't care too much about organic and non-GMO stuff, but if you do, these are non-GMO and several ingredients are listed as being organic. Hubby likes these too, so we try not to be without them. Glad they are on subscribe & save!

Meh
I've never had a Cliff bar before but I see them everywhere so I assumed that they would be amazingly delicious or something. Recently I've been going out and hiking a lot (like 5-15 mile hikes) and figured that eh a Cliff bar should provide sustained energy in a yummy and convenient way. Well, they're not very good. It feels like a lot of effort to eat them. They don't taste bad,,, just a bit tasteless. The upside is that these bars really do feel like they curb hunger. But at about a dollar per bar (and an average home cooked meal for me is about $2) I feel as though they should taste good.
