I ordered the large because of my disability, I couldn't get round my neck, maybe its just me?

I had been struggling with neck pain and I was worried as we were going on holiday. I decided to give this neck brace a try as it did not look as hot as the foam ones and gave more supportVery pleased I did! My neck was more comfortable in a couple of days and I was able to stop taking pain killers. I continued wearing it as and when I needed support for about a week until the pain had completely gone

I use this neck brace to sleep in all night. It’s so comfortable and doesn’t make me feel hot.It’s really helped with headaches.The Velpeau range of neck braces are so well made and the packaging is really good. Really excellent quality and it’s great to have a bag for storage.Thank you Velpeau .

The neck height is too high and the edge is too hard.

I happened to have severe stiff neck and headache when this came up, so I thought to try it. It's a very good quality natural-coloured silicone moulding, the open structure providing good ventilation, and I guess. a degree of flexibility. The bottom section has a padded stockinette cover which can be removed by undoing the press-studs. The brace arrived folded in a box, with ample bi-lingual documentation. a lot of which related to many alternative designs, a storage bag, and a thin fabric sleeve of unknown purpose. I found the brace a bit awkward to put on, partly because I had a stiff neck, and partly because it took some time to lose the fold from storage. Actually, I would find it difficult to get tight even now, because it fits tightly under the chin (if you have the correct size), and that makes it hard to reach back. Many people will need assistance to fit this. It is retained at the back by a velcro strip. It does support the head, and restricts movement, at the cost of some discomfort. It would have been beneficial if I had got it a few days earlier, when any movement was painful. I was starting to recover by the time I tried it. In my opinion, this is good design, well-executed, and will be of benefit in many cases.

This neck support will support chin and to a certain extent the sides of the neck but you can put your head right back in this.I think it would depend on your neck discomfort or injury whether it would do for you.I have a painful neck from time to time if I've slept wrong or been bending my head on my phone or tablet for too long and have to rest my neck till it's better.This little device is somewhere to rest my chin and take the strain off my neck so I would highly recommend in those circumstances but not sure it would be a great support for say a whiplash injury.I found it reasonably comfortable to wear, it certainly didn't chafe anywhere and it has a soft sleeve washable cover that you could also use for further comfort.
