Perhaps the ruler wasn't shown when reviewers were saying that they didn't realize how small these were; but even so, the ruler is inaccurate. Maybe it's in centimeters and not inches. I measured them at 3/4" each.I am actually very pleased with these little stars. I have an Indian Ringneck parrot who, apparently, was never used to playing with toys at his former home and has been completely ignoring every toy I put on his playstand and in his cage. A couple of times lately, he has shown a short interest in a large set of rings that is for my African Grey, so I was pleased when I found these small ones. Sure enough, my Ringneck went over to check these out as soon as I put them up! Finally! A toy which which he might actually enjoy! At least, I am hoping that he continues to show an interest in them.I like that these came in four separate strips, each being almost a foot long--I'm estimating. Two of the strips have metal hooks for attaching to the cage or playstand, and two of them have tiny little bells on the ends. All the stars have a very narrow slit/opening for attaching them to very small rings, hooks or whatever. The plastic is transparent and reflects the light very nicely giving them a little sparkle.

Very tiny. No kid or animal could play with these. Way to tiny to be safe.

Got these for my sugar glider, they were a lot smaller than expected but i didn’t read it said 1 cm. they are about the size of a dime. they have bells and clips at the end. when all put together, it’s about 3 ft. overall pretty nice but just a little small.

Very cool. Bought them to hang in my sugar gliders cage. But it doesn't tell you in the description ( and i might be wrong cause i never read them) is that little bells are attached to two of them and there already connected so i put two and two together and hung it with the bell now this little jerk glider I have wants to jump on these stars all night ringing the bells. Hes in the bathroom..not even in the room with me.im taking the bells off. I expected them to be bigger do it was a shock when they where so small. But they are cute! Love the colors I do not want the job of the poor soul who has to count out 100 of these things at a time. I'm gonna count mine and see if it's right BRB......100 on the dot. I had four stars now im giving five instead of being all angry the bells kept me up I should be thankful it came with an unexpected additive

I purchased these on a whim to get free shipping, and my bird love love loves it, it was his favorite thing out of the group of things I purchased! Each star is about the size of a dime, but come with a couple clips and two bells. My conure is loving it! He is 4 months old and they are sturdy enough to hold his weight while he is playing on them. Worth the $7 would buy again!

These little stars are fantastic for hanging items in the cage what I didn't expect was how much my parakeet would love them. Any toy with a star chain has become a new favorite. The only downside is how easy they are to break if twisted and I suppose the size if you were expecting larger. Still a great find and I'm already ordering more.

Only took off 1 star because it's my fault for not seeing the size listed in the description, but based on the photos I expected these to be about 50% bigger, like the ones I remember from the 90s rave scene. That said, they'll still be just fine for my needs I think.
