This gorgeous comforter was delivered, wrapped within the box like a gift. There was no zippered plastic bag holding this lovely thing, no. It was neatly folded, tied with a satin ribbon, placed within a fabric-type bag, then zipped into a cloth duffel bag. It felt like it was my birthday when I opened this Amazon box. I would highly recommend this seller for that alone. They take excellent care in preparing their product. They care about the consumer's first glimpse.The blanket itself...DIVINE! It is like a soft cloud...dreamy and light. I slept like a baby last night. Speaking as a woman in the over 50 crowd (with all of the "benefits" enjoyed therein), I endorse the wonder of this beautiful blanket. I will take it with me when I travel. Back in the lovely bag it will go and off to wrap me in sweet dreams wherever I go.***I encased my comforter within an organic cotton duvet. The duvet is also extremely light and breathable. It is recommended that this comforter be kept protected at all times, as it is not machine washable. I have to say that the amazing quality renders this item worthy of any consideration I must take to keep it safe.***I am so happy to have made this purchase!

I have been using silk products for a long time. It is said that as a natural material, Silk could keep body cool when it's warm and warm when it's cool. Well, I’m not that believe this statement. But I have to admit, silk blanket or comforter are much comfy than other material, such as down and polyester.I had purchased some silk comforters by other brands, and when this new brand was recommended by some friends, I just tried ordering the lighted version – summer one, and a 3-piece bedding sets as well (honestly I only need the comforter cover). Nice presentation in this listing page BTW. I always hesitate to purchase any comforters without information of net weight of filling material. Those important parameters are very clearly indicated by this seller for different seasons.With that summer comforter on my bed, I was able to sleep deeply, didn’t wake up too hot or cold. There is no offensive chemical smell, no allergic stuff. Don’t know how to identify silk, but seller do provide long zipper to allow you to take a look at it. Plus, with those clasps provided, it is easy to tie to comforter cover (when you buy duvet cover, recommend check if it is equipped with strings) so that it won’t slipping and sliding inside the cover, else you may want make a few yourself.Totally satisfied with this product. So I ordered fall and winter version to my friends as a gift. My friend said she feel she slept like a queen with the new silk comforter, she is very happy and satisfied with this product.

Great quality, warm, soft

Among those silk comforters I purchased in these 10 years, this comforter seems to be my favorite one with good quality. The shell fabric is soft and well made, and the silk inside is fine and feels very dedicate and smooth to touch and rub. Although I put a thick duvet cover on it, the comforter drapes pretty well and is not too heavy on the body at all. Compared to those silk comforters filled with short and cluster silk, this particular comforter has long strand silk which I believe it won’t be clumpy after using a couple of years.Well, I don’t know how to differentiate between mulberry silk and tussah silk, and how silk has been extracted, by hand or by machine is not my concern either. However, this comforter is luxurious on package and product itself, as advertised. With the room temperature set at 68-70'F all year, I chose the spring version and looks like I made the right decision since we were really hoping for a single comforter that could be used year-round. Perhaps I will consider another comforter of summer version for my family who prefer a little bit light weight and set the room temp above 70F during summer. This silk comforter is not as fluffy like a down comforter, but it certainly is just as comfortable as you could image.Before ordering, I did some research and googled this company, have to say that I was impressed by the silk manufacturing ads posted by them. Regardless of the guaranteed hypo-allergenic combination of 100% silk fill covered with a 100% cotton sateen shell, I will be glad to give it a 5-star as all other customers.

Update 09/03/22: Still love it. It's still in great shape, not a single quality issue. I still absolutely recommend this as a purchase you won't regret. Eventually I might get another that's warmer but for now adding a blanket in the winter months works great.Original reviewStranded on a desert island and you can have one luxury item? I'm a light sleeper and, among other things, can be easily woken by temperature changes. I also like the weight of a nice blanket on me when I sleep. Unfortunately heavier blankets mean too much warmth ... Until I found this gem.First, the comforter is true to size and well - constructed. It arrived in a nice canvas bag that can be used to store your comforter or reused as a weekender bag. This didn't have any type of chemical or preservative smell upon arriving.On the summer duvet, the weight is comfortable and pleasing. It feels denser than a cotton or poly comforter but doesn't trap heat. It doesnt bunch or roll, and has multiple tie points to keep it anchored in a duvet cover.Despite the weight, there's no problem with heat. I've used this in ranges of 10°C - 32°C comfortably with only a sheet (no blanket layer).The silk is authentic, and I have no reason to doubt the quality after three months of use. I'm very pleased with this comforter and will likely buy the Fall version for cold weather.
