Making jalapeño poppers has never been so easy. Absolutely love this thing.

Started using jalapeno and such along with the green peppers when I do my skillet chicken just for a bit more flavor. Jalapenos lack heat to me since I love heat and enjoy carolina reaper level heat if I'm just looking for a hot kick, but jalapeno does class up my skillets.And this makes it so easy to core them and prep them. So much better than using my knife alone as I had up to this point.

I feel this is a very well designed tool. Being designed for coring peppers ... and as so many others have said ... I think the scale of it is a bit large for anything other than the largest, straightest, fleshiest of such.I understood this before I purchased it and therefore am not disappointed with this tool. It seems very well constructed and I’ve used it to core / seed Roma tomatoes quite successfully. The Apple corer I own is an OXO where one has to hold the two halves together to shove it through the apple and it not only cores it; it guts it! It’s a great tool, the OXO corer but it’s a bit of a beast for smaller fruit. So, on the advice of another reviewer I purchased this to also try on apples. If I find it doesn’t work I’ll update this review to say it doesn’t work for me. But I can’t see why it shouldn’t.As the title of this review indicates there’s a bit of a learning curve to getting to use this, IMHO, but I feel it’s a good tool with many uses in the kitchen. Unfortunately it just may be a bit oversized for the original designers intent?

Great tool if you like poppers

Well made. Very sturdy. Should hold up for years.

I was excited to try it on a few jalapenos and small sweet peppers. I was disappointed. The teeth didn't seem sharp enough to cut the flesh. When I turned the tool the flesh did not pull away from the sides, unless I turned more than six times. Even though the flesh might pull from the sides. I still had to pull out the flesh from the veggie.

This worked so well! I should have gotten one of these a long time ago. It is great quality as well!
