Very happy with the look of this with my MacBook on my desk. The finish is almost identical and it works very well for how simple the design is. Less moving parts=less thigns to break. I personally use it with my MacBook standing vertically and it still works as desired.

This holder works perfectly for my Lenovo Yoga 2 in 1, but not for my MacBook Air. The MacBook Air has a little bit of space causing it to lean just slightly. This holder has little rubber pads on the inside where the laptop rests to protect it from scratches. These little pads are still effective with the lean. I haven't seen any scratches on either computer (I have two of these stands) and they have held up perfectly. The adjustment screw is easy to set and does not loosen over time. The stand is sturdy, but not very heavy... I've noticed a have to hold the stand against the desk when I lift my computer (the yoga) out of it. However, the slight lean of the MacBook allows me to pull it out with one hand.

The UGreen docking station works great for anytype of laptop. My only critique is that whenever I'm trying to take off a usb c plug the dock moves along with where I'm pulling. They need rubber feet so it doesn't move around easily. I'm sure their are rubber feet you can buy and slap them on this dock but I'm talking about this item in particular and how it doesn't come with its own set of rubber feet.

I just had to try this stand because it would save space on my desk, and it can get maximum air exchange. Since I use a docking station all the time, I don't keep my laptop open, so this is a great solution for my need. It's lightweight, stylish but very sturdy. It can be adjusted quite easily based on your laptop thickness size. Simple, yet effective. I highly recommend this stand to everyone...

The aluminum is thick, edges are smooth, and the rubber padding grips without scratching. The adjustable width mechanism feels heavy and luxurious. It holds my 15" macbook air rock steady, zero wobble, and the rubber base means it's not going anywhere on my desk. I was worried initially because the large MBA is really thin but big, so I was concerned that it would wobble or be off balance if sitting vertically. ZERO issues with that. This stand is rock solid. The whole thing has that dense, cold-to-the-touch feel of actual quality aluminum, not the hollow nonsense you usually get at this price. I like the adjustable knob as you can use this stand for any laptop regardless of dimensions. Good quality materials.

Best piece of equipment bought this season. Cleans up a lot of desk clutter. Works well on my dell latitude and MacBook Pro. There is lot of room to adjust the fit for beefier laptops. The base or wide and provides good stability. The build quality is excellent.
