There is no way this is a 4 gallon garbage can. The hole is not even big enough to scrap a plate. It is very small. I have a 4 gallon rubber made can that is bigger. Also, nothing is English! The smaller can would be good for the counter top while cooking. You may have to change the bag a few times. Needless to say - I will be returning it. The quality would be rated 0. It is so cheap. I do not recommend this product.

Update. No customer service from the seller at all. I would have given 5 if otherwise. Amazon is great. They sent me a replacement the next day after I complained about the malfunction of the bigger bin lid. The lid worked well for the first week. But it could not be fully opened in the second week as the previous one. I oiled the connection part with veg oil. It worked!!!! I fixed . You can’t plug the USB charger to your power cord usb slot directly as its output cannot be anything bugger than 1-2A. You can use your iPhone charger.

Update 2.0: it's been a few months of working great, now it has stopped working again. I guess you get what you pay for. The deal was too good to be true :(Update: they sent me a replacement and it works. Yay!!!bought this lots of excitement and high hopes. Not even a week later the mechanisms for the hinge to auto open doesn't work. I wave my hand-its makes a whirring sound-and... nothing. I tap it... same thing. Nothing!!I have to manually open it.

The media could not be loaded.  The trash is cute, but the big trash can needs electric charge, not use AAA or AA batteries. Its USB charging port is inside the lib, not outside the trash can. It is too inconvenient. I need to take off the lib and charge it if the batteries die. Yet, the small trash can uses AA batteries, not electric charge. However, the touchless lid doesn't work well when I wave or even touch on the side or top of manual control. It wastes money for inconvenient trash cans.

The media could not be loaded.  This set of trash can is a great deal, but one get one free!!! The design is clean and beautiful. The most important is that the sensor system is sensitive and don’t worry about not automatically open the lid.

Items were cute but not practical for my needs.

The trash can I tiny. No where near the 15 L it claims to be. Do not buy you you will be taking the trash out 4 times a day
