Cleaning Away The White Wash
Incredible and eye opening book that shows you Dr. King was much more complex than the media's white washed version and the "I had a dream" speech. This book is so important especially given the modern state of the United States. Highly recommend you pick up a copy and challenge your preconceived notions.

The visionary radicalism of Dr. King
The book is a brilliant and insightful testament to radical and still unfolding visionary radicalism, organizing, action, and transcendent love of Dr. Martin Luther King.Placing his work within the Black Radical Tradition of opposition to and engagement with racial empire, Dr. Loggins and Dr.Douglas give us new insights into the brilliance and contradictions and active legacy of King’s last years. This work allows us link the prescience of the 1968 Poor People’s Campaign with the still unfolding projects of reparations, wealth redistribution, anti-Capitalism, and abolition of today. It is a brilliant work that reminds us that the work which King began is still before us.
