We went back and forth about buying an Oculus this year but decided on gifting this to our 8 year old. He likes it and had shared it with a lot of his friends. It was a very reasonable price to give a first time user a try. Would recommend it.

I'm not sure, maybe I'm doing something wrong. I wish there were better directions for this. I couldn't quite close the door after I inserted my phone, and the part that is supposed to hold the phone in place broke off. I ordered a remote, since it said it's frequently sold together, but I just don't understand how this works. I tried playing a 3D video, it didn't se any better than watching it on my phone. In fact the picture on the vr was blurry. I have to wear my glasses with it, which makes it very uncomfortable, because I have adjusted the straps as large as possible, and it's still too tight. I guess this grandma is just not tech savvy enough to use something like this, and I'm sad that I wasted money on it plus the remote.

For my son who is six. It works perfectly for him it’s age-appropriate and they use the virtual reality from the device. In my opinion it is Appropriate based on age

Not a clear picture at all. It’s fuzzy so you don’t get the full experience of actually being there in the video.

Horrible build quality cheap plastic. It is insanely uncomfortable and the straps are not adjustable. There is hard plastic where the nose indent is and by god they didn’t even bother to put at least some soft material on there. It doesn’t deliver what it promised. I know it’s not supposed to replace a VR headset but man they could have done so much better.

This unit is crazy cheap and comfortable (possibly durable after dropping it once and nothing happening). The only thing lacking from it is controls for interaction either built in or a controller included. All in all I feel it is a great unit and a million times better than cardboard.

This item pairs well with a controller that is very affordable, ideal for young kids while traveling.
