I’m a fan of Klein Tools going way back to my days as a professional utility worker. Since I’ve retired I spend a lot of time working in my garage on old cars as well as helping my kids with their home improvement projects. This little speaker is always by my side streaming music or the news. The sound from such a small speaker is really outstanding, but my real love is the heavy magnetic mount. I’ve stuck it to cars, metal studs, tool boxes and even the refrigerator! Klein Tools makes several models of this speaker, but for me the built in magnet sold me on this model. While other reviews say the sound quality of the bass is kind of weak, attaching the speaker to and surface creates a “boom box” which amplifies the bass range. I’ve had no issues with Bluetooth hookups or drop offs and the speaker lasts all day on a charge at a normal listening level. Like I said, I love this thing!

I mostly think this is a very good job site speaker. It’s small enough to fit practically anywhere, and it has a very strong magnetic base that gives it a good deal of versatility. The battery life is decent. It claims to be built to withstand a drop of over six feet, and I believe it. It feels very solid. My only issue is that the sound quality really isn’t that great. I don’t know how to best communicate the sound quality to you, but I would say it’s probably the halfway point between the speaker built into my iPhone 7, and an actual high quality speaker. This isn’t hard to beat in sound quality, but if you need a durable and convenient job site speaker, this may be a good option. I certainly don’t regret getting it.

Excellent battery life, loud enough for for the size.

Purchased November 2023. Mounted magnetically to the roof inside my Bobcat 773 skid steer and has not been removed since. It has lived in the machine through three Upstate New York winters and three summers, including snow removal, brush hogging, dirt work, dust, vibration, and temperature extremes. I may have charged it once or twice in place max. If I didn’t know better I’d believe it charged through vibrations. Bluetooth still works, battery still holds a charge, and the magnet remains secure. I bought it because it was magnetic. I would buy it again solely because it refuses to die.

I bought this to use on a site where I was working alone in small rooms, and I couldn't be bothered carting around my big site radio. So far I've been more than happy with it. It's plenty loud enough, and the battery lasted me a couple of days at a medium volume. It feels well built too, so should survive ok on a building site.

About this work speaker as a way to listen to music while I was at work this specific products struck my eye due to the fact that the back of it has a large magnet on it and it can be stuck to any metal surface so working inside of the truck where I do I was able to place this speaker on the roof right above my head which gave a good listenability while operating my loud equipment and had easy access to the buttons it's extraordinarily loud for a small little speaker and for $50 it is worth every single penny I still have this small compact speaker to this day it's still in working order in my garage and I use it when I'm out there working to listen to music while changing tires or doing other things around the house outside 100% a fantastic product would recommend to anybody if you're looking for a small speaker that gives a loud boom this is the product for you
