Loose-lay cable better for small areas, great system!
I've had experience with both the mat system and now the loose-lay cables, and I must say for small areas the loose-lay cable with fixing strips gives you much better layout options. Product quality was good, love the programmable touch screen thermostat. Installation was easier than expected, after I finished measuring I nailed the fixing strips to the floor, laced-up the wire and the tiler did the rest, couldn't have been simpler. Loving the warm floor, although it's about time to switch to cooling but can't wait for next winter.
