Fantastic
I love this straightener. I was hesitant because of the price and some bad reviews, but when I looked at others and compared reviews, this was the best choice and I am happy with my decision. It has worked great for me. I read other complaints about hair being pulled out, the Keratin infused plates not working, etc., and I don’t know why people have had those experiences but I have not. First of all, before you use any hot tool you need to put a heat protectant on. If this iron pulls your hair out, you’re likely not using a protectant or you are holding the iron in one place too long. This has been very gentle on my hair and is very smooth. My hair doesn’t get stuck no matter how tight I hold the plates together. This is not a vapor iron; it does not emit oil and therefore doesn’t leave a residue. Because these are infused plates, there is no greasy reside left on the hair but the result is similar. I have fine have fine, thin hair due to damage from a previous iron and highlights, so heavy oils and conditioners are too much for me and I already use a protectant so I don’t need more oils on my hair. I also like how this automatically adjusts the heat. You set a temperature, and it adjusts itself based on the condition of your hair as you are styling. My hair is very soft after using this and I have had no problems with fizziness during the day which I had with my last iron. It will curl, and it held the curls for me all day even in the heat and humidity. That being said, this is not a miracle iron. There is no such thing. If you expect your hair to be immediately transformed after a few uses, you will be disappointed. Nothing will do that. It takes time to repair damage and this has helped – both with repairing the condition of my hair and not doing further damage. If you want an extra boost to repairing your hair, I would recommend buying pure coconut oil or Argon oil and sleeping with this on about once a week (I use an old pillow case that night and throw it in the laundry in the morning). I have a Coconut conditioner that I use also and it has done wonders. This flat iron is a nice compliment to my hair care routine and process of repairing damage and preventing further damage. It is easy to use, does not burn my hand/fingers, and works right out of the box with no complicated instructions.

CURLY TO STRAIGHT VOODOO FLAT IRON
As a multi racial woman, my hair is fine, thick voluminous and very hard to maintain no matter how I try to wear it. I've had chi flat irons all my life and they seriously don't compete with this. One pass through with this and a small amount of serum to keep my ends less blunted and WHOAH never been so straight without a chemical relaxer!!!!!!!! I set it to 400 at first and then down to 340 and it still works like magic. My hair is softer, shinier and stays straight longer! I'm not even kidding, one slow pass and it's done and it feels so healthy! I even slept on it and gave my ends a quick go over this morning and it's perfectly straight. At first I thought the keratin infused plates was a ploy to get us girls who really need that to just buy it but you can definitely tell it's true after one use. I absolutely love how light it is to use. Waving my arms above my head for 45 minutes usually is enough to tire them without a huge iron. Another thing I feel I should mention ( not a con but just a tip) because the one plate had the heat sensor thing in the middle of it, if you use product before straightening it will gunk up the ridges so just be sure to clean it so it can keep doing it's job and keep your hair healthy! I recommend this to any hair type even 4c (I'm (4a-b depending on how short I have it)!!!!

Amazed!
I have been using flat irons on my hair for over a decade and as a frizzy haired blonde with fine hair, I am very cautious with what straightener I use. I have tried many professional ones over the years and before I got the Lumabella, I had a Hana Elite which I loved and thought would be hard to replace. Considering the Hana is in the 3 figure range, I figured I would give a more affordable one a shot when it broke (my fault for dropping it and splitting it in half, oops). I am BEYOND happy with the LumaBella. First of all, it's cute as hell with the sleek pink and blue led light that shows the temperature. Second, it glides through my hair SO easy and makes it smooth and shiny in just one stroke, it looks so healthy when I'm done. I mean honestly, it is extremely difficult to get processed blonde hair to look sleek and shiny but here I am now. I usually curl my hair with a straightener and LumaBella makes that super easy, giving me nice and shiny Victoria Secret style waves.

Best Straightener I’ve had
I’m not sure if I’ve just had horrible straighteners or this one is just absolutely incredible.Do research off Amazon before making a purchase. This got less than 4 stars on here, but it was in almost every other article for best flat irons to purchase.Everywhere online said it took forever to heat up, but it takes about 30 seconds maybe less.I’ve never had a 1-2 pass flat iron that actually works because I have thick very wavy/curly hair, but this one is AMAZING. My other Rusk straighteners took me FOREVER to straighten but this one takes me 10 mins. My hair is not frizzy after, like with my Rusks, the keratin must work because my hair looks very healthy after, no matter what. The keratin treatment also helps the hair stay straight even in humid hot weather, which is helpful in Florida. It also looks very sleek and pretty. 11/10

Straightner has lasted well for me
I’ve had this straightener awhile now and it still does the job nicely. My only issue is the lock feature is a little hard to flip on and off, I’ve chipped my nails while trying to unlock it. It straightens my hair without leaving any frizz behind, it does pull my hair a little every once in a while...but probably because I try to straighten too much at one time. Also I can’t tell a difference between when the keratin button is on vs when off, it seems to be about the same result. I would recommend this product though because it’s lasted me 2-3 years and leaves my hair soft and smooth

Meh, just an ok straightener
After several weeks of trying to use this overall the Keratin Dual Touch Styler is an ok straightener but I do have a few complaints.► First off I didn’t find it to be much better than the average drugstore straightener so seriously not worth the price tag.► In regards to the 'Karatin micro-conditioners' which are said to be embedded within the plates, I didn’t see any noticeable difference when comparing to my usual straightener or the professional one I use every day.► Also, it doesn't glide across my hair nearly as well as my professional straightener.I like that it adjusts itself to your hair type and I didn’t notice any more damage than I have with my professional straightener. The temperature control is easy to use and not change by mistake. So even though this isn’t cheap, overall it’s good enough for the gym bag when I need to redo my hair and.

It's ok, nothing wow about it
Pretty common performance, it wasn't anything amazing nor was it terrible. It heated up decently quick and it straightened hair with a few passes.I didn't notice any keratin effect, might just be marketing nonsense.I liked the length of the cord and the feel of the straightener in my hand but the handle was a bit warm and uncomfortable after a few minutes.I think there are better options out there, especially for a no bells and whistle straightener such as this.

It's fine. I don't think it does anything particularly well but the heat sensors may be a selling point for some
It's perfectly fine - I didn't find this to be particularly notable one way or another. Nothing particularly stood out to me here: it gets hot enough, fast enough but the same can be said about many straighteners. The Keratin Micro Conditioners didn't seem to do anything. The smart heat sensors are ok. I didn't really find it necessary for my hair though maybe it's a key feature for some.
