Dock steps at the lake

Ordered two of these lights. For the price, seem like a good purchase. Have not installed yet. Upon arrival, I wanted to operationally check them out. The first one, worked great. No pull tab, just twist the top off and turn on the switch and cover the solar panels and the lights came on. The other light, did not lite. Swapped batteries between the two light assemblies and the second one worked. Took suspect bad battery and placed on a charger. Defective battery. Now to see what kind of cutomer service there is.

Not the brightest light to begin with. Of course, like most things, I didn't get these installed until after the return period expired. Thought it odd that there was only one battery in each rather than the two. There are two slots but only the connection for one which I didn't notice until after I bought two additional batteries. One light didn't work, so I changed out the one battery with the tested working battery and it still didn't light. Then, days later I took it apart, I noticed there was an on-off switch inside the unit that a turned on and now it works. They are both working now but wish there was a little more illumination.

These look nice on the deck, but they don't collect enough sunlight to hold a charge on the battery after the first week. The first night I had them out, the battery lasted 8 hours. Now two weeks later, I'm lucky to get 20 minutes from the light. It's nice as an accent light, not very bright, but that's ok for my purposes as I have multiple other lights on my deck.. The dusk to dawn sensor works well. It looks good even without the light on. I didn't buy them specifically for the light, but if you need something that is lighted, buy something powered, not a solar item.

After 6 months, half of them work. 2 are not working at all and 4 work but very dim glow. (Ordered 13 of them for my dock.) The clear plastic came cracked on a couple of them.

Ordered 9 of these...one had not been finished in assembly...3 came with cracked lenses...expected more for the money.

I bought 2 pair of these for either side of a fence gate. They are not quite a bright as I expected. One is fully exposed to the sun all day and starts out bright, but does not last too long. The other is partially shaded and does not get enough charge to work into the night. These fit smooth planed 6x6 posts. Rough sawn 6x6 posts are slightly too large and the top needs to be planed in order to install lights.

These post caps are very nice. We changed the batteries and are amazed at how long they hold a charge throughout the night.Makes the deck look enjoyable throughout the evening in these winter months.I would recommend this product. Even ordered a couple of replacements...just in case.I would recommend the solar powered post cap, make sure you submit the correct measurements. The above size were perfect for our deck.

I purchased these as used under warehouse deal. Works OK, not very bright, more accent. All plastic and on the cheap looking. Would not pay full price.

Looks good.. But pretty cheap plastic. The plastic glass was cracked when I got it...

Have purchased several, none of them stay lit for more than a few hours after a full charge in full sun. They look good but perform poorly. Would not recommend.

Ordered two of them. One of them arrived with a large crack in the clear plastic lens. Product has an overall cheap quality which did not inspire confidence.
