Good game, kids really enjoy playing and it’s nice and simple so suitable for all ages

The game is quite unique as the electronic bug vibrates and moves around the trail pushing balls into the holes..However, after a couple goes the kids were bored with it. Nice idea but gameplay needs a bit of work.

It is a great quality game from Ravensburger. Comes in a well-presented box, made with high quality thick cardboard. Typical Ravensburger quality including the components as well. The game is recommended for 3+ aged players and it can be played by 2 or 4 players. Each game takes about 10 minutes, quite fast paced game. The funniest element of the game is the nano mum bug, it looks a bit unnatural like a robot bug and it’s operating with a battery, it constantly vibrates, and this vibration makes the bug to move around the spiralled playing field. The rules are very simple, each player must place a crumb (a coloured ball) on the designated starting point and the nano bug will push this crumb into a small hole where to feed her little bugs with it. Whoever’s crumbs will run out first, will win. If I would only take in consideration the design, the quality, and the fun while we play with this, I would instantly give 5 stars for this boardgame, but from educational point of view is none. I can’t really see if this would teach anything for a 3+ year old child. Also, the whole game and the winner depends on the nano bug and on luck. There is no opportunity to interact, plan or to take decisions in order to win the game. I would also highlight that the coloured balls which represent the crumbs are pretty small, it easy to be swallowed by a 3 year old. All in all, it’s fun to play with this, my son always laughing on this vibrating bug, however in my opinion, this not a must have game. If you really like the idea of this game, I recommend buying the Bugs in the Kitchen Board Game for Kids for age 6 Years and Up, that version it is more complex comes with a dice and you have to interact and take decisions in the came in order to win.

Quick and simple game you can play in 10-15ins with 2-4 players. Aimed at very little ones, the aim is to help mummy bug to race through the pantry and push crumbs of food through the holes in the floorboards to feed her children. The winner is the one whose crumbs are gobbled up first! It is very simple and is bright and colourful with a three-dimensional pantry, 1x floorboard, 1x Mummy Bug, 16x food crumbs, 4x food crates, 4x food crate pictures, 1x barrier & 1x replacement barrier and instructions. There is no real skill in this game but it is a bit of fun and will keep a little one's attention for the time it takes to play the game. Just be aware, the crumbs are simply coloured balls but they are fairly small so I'd be extremely cautious with a little one under 5 playing this! A fab introduction to basic game play but other than that, not very interactive. You are however basically paying for the nano hex bug which is fun and can be played with outside of the game but is very basic. As always with Ravensburger, great quality, but a tad expensive for what is a very simple and basic game.

We had another version of this game which were more suitable for older kids. As it required more thinking etc. This version is perfect for smaller ones to get into the board games early. The quality of the whole game and its components is really good and I have no issues with any of it. The rules are simple and understandable for even smaller kids. Plus the whole game time is really fast and does not require almost any set-up. The whole components are really colourful as well which brings more interest to kids. Overall, a really good board game for I would even say the whole family to play sometimes. Then there is nothing to do. For this price, it is really worth getting it and just have it.

This is a really great gif idea for kids and it is so much fun. There is a small bug included and it races around the game and it is quite funny actually. It is a 2-4 player game, one game takes around 15/20 minutes so it's quite quick whcih is good. It is super fun, and easy way to pass time, and really funny as well. The price is good and there is a lot included, so I highly recommend it.

I can't quite say this is a board game as it is very loose and this is basically just a vibrating nano bot that knocks the balls in the holes. There isn't really any skill at all but the bug running round the track does seem to amuse children. I've just over £20 it seems like reasonable value but I can't really see a child being engaged for much more than a few minutes at a time.
