I Love You All the Time

My son used to say, "Luv u All the Time" at the end of every visit or phone call. He died b4 meeting his 1st granddaughter. We bought this book, not only for her but for her mom. She loves it and reads it to her daughter all the time. She shares her memories with her father to her daughter always.

This is my toddler's new favorite book - we bought it after checking it out at the library and never being able to return it. It has been such a reassuring book for him after the recent addition of a sibling. "I love you all the time" is repeated with every page turn and really emphasizes that parents will love their children no matter what. We love that the family depicted in the book is of mixed backgrounds and mixed skin color. There is also a grandparent present and a pet and so many great lessons about it being ok to make mistakes, fail, get upset, be late -- all the common scenarios that a toddler in his or her "terrible twos" may face. It's also a great reminder to us that even when we're busy and rushing around, our toddler may not understand time, work, school, and may just be looking for a hug and word of love from us. Beautiful large illustrations, great rhyming beat for reading out loud - we also love the other books written by the same author/illustrator and will be purchasing them all as well.

I bought this book for my daughter who is intellectually disabled. She’s 27, going on about seven. It led to the most wonderful discussions. The concepts in the book are simple, and the illustrations are beautiful, but the repetition of the ideas helps so much with emotional intelligence. And the caregivers guide at the back has been really helpful for me and guiding my daughter to understand that no matter what happens, I love her. She is adopted and has attachment issues, and this book has been absolutely perfect. It’s great for all children, but super helpful for adopted kids who sometimes question whether or not they are loved.

I have this saying tattooed on my arm as I've been saying it to my kids since they were born. This book echoes all of the ways that it is true. We had a different book by the same name (and by a different author) that was pretty dated, but has always been a favorite because of the phrase, but this beautiful picture book is a wonderful replacement so we can carry the message on for generations to come.

I bought this book for my daughter who has ADHD, it's been a fantastic reminder for her that we love her ALL the time!

My 3-year-old granddaughter couldn’t get enough of this book. By the time we left our weekend visit, she was “reading” it to us! Highly recommend this and the companion book, You Have Feelings All the Time.

I bought my first copy from an independent book seller but just Amazon ordered another copy of this book and “You Have Feelings All The Time” by the same author to mail to my niece and nephew. I read both to them and they loved the repetition of the title phrases and enjoyed talking about each picture. I’d ask them how the child in the picture might be feeling and it was incredibly insightful to hear what they thought and why. I also love the “Note to Caregivers” at the end of each. Highly recommend both for the small fry in your life.
