Great for a cleaning solar panels!
Most of the reviews are right on. However what I did was remove the plastic shut off and inserted a quick disconnect for the hose, which already has a brass shut off built into it, that way you can rotate the pole/hose 360° while you are cleaning. I also returned the right angle attachment because if you’re on your roof cleaning solar panels you don’t need it! This is the first time using it and it worked great! I was up and down off the roof all 26 solar panels cleaned in less than 30 minutes! Did not have any leaks and so far it seems sturdy for the job that I needed to perform…

Works great for me
I've been using this with a soft brunch from the same company to clean the siding on my house. The pole is very light weight and quite sturdy as long as you haven't extended it to it's max. Between 6 ft and maybe 9 ft it's quite easy to handle, but if you extend it all the way to 12" the weight of the water and the length of the pole does make it quite challenging to handle. It's easy enough to keep it vertical and move it up and down, but if you try to move it to the side at all it's pretty unwieldy.Unlike other reviewing I haven't had any trouble with the water valve that is screwed to the bottom of the pole. It works, but it is made of plastic and I could see how it may break in the future.

Solved a difficult cleaning problem . . .
This coupled with the Mr. Long Arm 0406 Stiff Flow-Thru Brush Tan solved a problem that I had with bird and duck residue on our aluminum siding. I was able to clean it with only water supplied through the unit and scrubbing with the attached brush. I was able to use the system at full extension and was still able to scrub using up down and left right motion. When the tube is extended it does flex but still was able to do the job. Solved a difficult cleaning job. Would definitely recommend.

Poor Quality. Does not perform as advertised. No support from MFG.
Last year (09/17), I bought a new travel trailer, this pole, and brushes to clean the trailer with. Just got around to using the pole (08/18), for the first time since purchase. Because pole is extendible, it is built with inner and outer poles. To extend, the inner pole must be unlocked, extended forward, and re-locked. The lock mechanism holding the two poles together would not work properly. I would partially extend the inner pole, engage the lock mechanism, turn the water on, and the inner pole would extend itself to its full limit. Thus, making the unit too long and impossible to use in some circumstances. No matter how much the locking mechanism was tightened, the inner pole would fully extend by itself.I sent an email to the MFG, "Mr. LongArm" in MO, USA, looking for some sort of help or advise. I realize I've had this item for about a year, but this being the first time it was used, I expected some sort of response.I received exactly NOTHING!I paid good money for this extension pole that didn't work and ended up spending a few more bucks, (what I should have done to begin with), on a plain wooden broom handle. Wasn't quite as slick, but the old time broom handle worked without a problem.Do not buy anything from "Mr. LongArm" in MO, USA. Thanks.

moderately sturdy, coulda been better.
The BEST thing is that I can reach the peak of my house to scrub and clean. On the other hand, the two pole pieces that extend to the 12' length are aluminum, and are a little bit flexible. My concern is that when fully extended, the pole might bend like I've seen happen on similar tools. It works, but it is not really very heavy duty. Also, when fastening a garden hose at the end, the female threaded connector is one piece molded plastic, that doesn't "spin"... so that when the tool is laid on the ground, and you fasten the hose, you must rotate the entire extended tool... the brush on the end must flop round and round. The brush on the end goes round and round when you fasten the garden hose.

If you are looking at it, don't hesitate. Awesome!
WOW. I had to clean the siding on the house. We have a few high peaks, and a Chimney.I am not good on a ladder, so I thought I would try this.WOW. This is my new favorite tool. It made such quick work off the job I was shocked.I planned to do 1/2 the house today, and 1/2 the house tomorrow. I finished it all today. And the chimney.30 Second Cleaner was used separately to break down the green moss that we get. Hosed it down quickly. Then hit it with this. It slid right passed a couple of the Hanging Nails we have sticking out. But still let me scrub. For the tall stuff, I just had to rock back and fourth a bit to cover about 3" at a time, which saved my arms. Also, USE one of those lightweight expanding houses. I did not at first, and switched to that. The weight difference is amazing. If I could make it hold a sprayer bottle at the top to apply the cleaner, I would have been too drunk to write this review! The bottom has a 1/4 turn shut off, which I used a lot. And the compression fitting worked great, and it was not leaking down my arms as I was afraid it would be...

It was so easy cleaning my deck and siding
I cannot believe I did without this for years. It was so easy cleaning my deck and siding. I purchased theCarrand 10" Quad brush head with this and it worked like a charm. It reached so high and is strong... I did not even have to use a ladder.

Does the job
It does the job, which is to clean the RV, and the water shut-off at the bottom of the handle is very handy. The only issue is that the water connection including the shut-off is all plastic and not robust. In addition it tends to work loose which means water starts gushing out there. I'll see if I can replace the connection with a brass version
