It is a gorgeous watch but I wouldn’t rate it a 5 as it is SUPER thin.

This BOSS Black Men's Quartz Watch with Stainless Steel Strap, Blue is a great watch. I was drawn to it in the pictures because of the cool coloring - it looked like a deep navy. But in person it’s even better. But the overall look and feel are what sold me.It arrives in a nice BOSS box. This box is not only great for one’s own impression, but makes for a very giftable watch. Right out of the box it’s attractive. Pull the plastic coverings and you’ll come to see a cool, attractive deep blue - something that looks at moments black, at other moments this rich blue. It’s just cool. I’m far more used to leather or those link bands. This kind of metal band is a first in my collection, but I really like it. It’s cool on the wrist and so far does not cause discomfort in hot weather. I also tend towards heavier watches, but this has a nice, even balance around the wrist to the point where I was even missing that I was still wearing it. That’s a major change up for me weight wise, but I love it - in it’s way. I’ve got a decent (smaller) watch collection, with many watches that have multiple dials on the face. In this case it is a simple watch face - something I’m coming to really appreciate as my eyes age and I find it harder to read watches without my reading glasses. This watch allows me to do that - read without the glasses. For younger eyes, it simply looks cool - attractive - handsome. It is thin, but has a substantial nature to it.Overall this is a really nice watch. I like how well it looks: handsome, cool, attractive. I like how easy it is to read. I like the balanced weight, even lighter than normal for me. The color is, in my opinion, among its best (of many) features. I really like this watch and if it lasts, I see it being a major part of my wardrobe for many years to come.

The media could not be loaded.  This watch stands out as sleek, stylish, with a dash of black stainless steel. This watch is so comfortable and light. As soon as I put it on, I forget I’m wearing it. This is a no fuss, but straight forward watch for dress or casual. The brushed dial are pronounced and easy to see. Simplicity and style combined!!!Trust you found this review honest and helpful:-)

I love this watch...a lot. There are a couple of minor negatives but these are more personal preference. The bezel is very small and because of that the watch "wears" larger, it feels like a 42 or 44 millimeter case, I would like to see the case two or three millimeters smaller. The mesh bracelet is butter but sometimes this kind of clasp can be hard to tell if you closed it properly and if you did not the watch will fall off your wrist soon.Everything else about this watch I love. For those that like to cultivate a dark casual look, this is your watch. Love the minimalist dial including no second hand. Has one of the thinnest cases you can buy, especially for an analog watch. Despite the dark minimalist look it is very easy to read the time, the hands are highly polished and pick up the littlest amount of light. This might be my favorite mesh bracelet ever, the look, comfort and easy to size. Have not stopped using this watch since I got it, very highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded.  I am wearing this super neat wristwatch right now and within the business casual context. With a black tie and a white and black button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up I am sporting a look I am happy with.Hugo Boss is a trusted brand I have always been happy with so this watch was based on trust and it did not let me down.What is unique about this watch is the face in the center is showcased to a heightened extent due to the strap being super thin metal. If the strap was say a standard leather variation the effect would be taken away. This watch matches well with solid dark colored ties with my preference being black or navy blue.The strap is of a sturdy metal that is put together in a way that you can't tell it is metal when wearing it. This is due to the thin design of the metal in that it has spaces within the way it is linked that allows it to have a certain degree of flexibility. The strap is not of the standard hole and fastener style but rather with a metal clasp contraption that features the brand name on the clasp face. I like way it snaps into place. There is a way a way to adjust the receiving end of the clasp so you can widen it. I can tell because there are notches faintly visible on the strap with a few going beyond where the receiving part of the contraption is indicting this is for adjustment.To adjust the strap you simply use a safety pin and push upwards on the open slot where you snap the clasp into place.This watch came pre set to the right time and fully functional. I like how there are single metal lines to indicate the hour. This is interesting because it is not a roman numeral or some other recognized numerical variation but a single line that repeats. I find that to be classy and like it. I love how the wristband shines with a nice gloss.In conclusion I am very happy with this watch from the Boss line and recommedn it.
