I like that this mirror has the 1x side and the 10x side of equal size. Several other options I looked at were 1x magnification with a stick-on 10x magnified circle that was only a few inches wide. This one is basically the same as the one I use at home, but it is travel friendly. I love the cushioned travel case, the lighting options, and the fact that it is rechargeable. It was exactly what I needed for a weekend trip. Assuming it holds up, it will be a permanent fixture in my luggage.

The lighting is great. Having 2 different magnifications is helpful and the plastic stand works great. Light weight and easy to travel with. Highly recommend order with the cover. That way you can put charging cord in with mirror. Like most lighted mirrors, does require recharge fairly frequently. My favorite travel mirror so far.

OK, old age has set in and I NEED a 10x magnification for makeup, teeth cleaning and eye drops. I have a lighted mirror at home but only a 3" mirror for travel. I decided to try out this mirror. I love this mirror! It has 2 sides with 10x magnification on one side. The stand folds flat for travel and moves around so you can set the mirror on a counter or shelf and use either side. Lots of light, in fact 3 light levels!! The padded travel case is a protective layer for the mirror in my suitcase; all good and wonderful aspects of the mirror. A couple of downsides, and why I gave it a 4 star overall rating. To recharge you must find a USB port. I would have liked it better if it came with an adapter plug for a wall socket. But that is a small price to pay for how great the mirror is. The other down side is the time between recharging. I traveled with it on a 5 day trip. I used the mirror for 30-90 total minutes every day (morning and night). I do not recall any information on duration and I failed to bring the charging cord with me. By day 4 I could no longer use the light function. I wish I could have gotten more than 4+ hours on the charge. But now I know, so I will no longer travel without the charging cord. I may even invest in a secondary market wall plug that has a USB port so I can charge in hotel bathrooms after or during use. Despite this, I still say I LOVE THIS MIRROR.

I bought this for a trip to Italy and it was terrific. I packed it between clothes in my checked bag and it survived the flights without any damage. Both sides of the mirror are lighted and clear. The magnified side was just right for my eyesight. Most other mirrors I considered had too much or not enough magnification. It was really sturdy on the countertops and could have conveniently been hung on a wall hook if there was such a thing in Italian bathrooms. My trip was 14 days and I only had to charge it one time. I am super pleased with this purchase.

The mirror is a good size and magnification is good. The batteries seem to last a reasonable period of time and it is not difficult to charge. Could use a protective or padded pouch to protect it during travel

Perfect mirror with one side magnified. Holds long charge. Great size. Wonderful lighting and size. Can’t say enough good about it. Highly recommend.

I’m not sure I’d ever travel with this because the battery life is awful and to find more plugins in a hotel is tough, especially if you have phones, computers tablets, etc… now ya gotta find another thing to plug in! Not! Most hotels have makeup mirrors anyhow so why?The light or rather glow is poor and casts a lot of shadows. The only one of the settings that is useful is the daylight (first setting), the other two are so dim they are as good as no light. Actually no light casts no shadows.As to the mirrors, they are 5 star! Made very well and have no aberrations in either the 1x or 10x. You do not get dizzy looking at the 10x and then going back to normal view.The stand is also good (5 stars) and stays exactly where you put it! It lays flat to make it fit in a drawer. But because you constantly have to plug this in, putting it away seems pointless.Battery drains regardless of usage in about 4 days. If you use it 5-10 minutes a day expect to cut the battery life by 8x meaning you’ll need to charge it when you’re done. You can use it for 20 minutes then charge it for 6-8 hours. As a comparison I have a battery operated (rechargeable) toothbrush and I can use that everyday for 3 weeks before I need to plug it in. So whatever they have for batteries isn’t adequate for the purpose, if it was, it would last for weeks too without a charge.However, the light is so dim that you wonder why you even bother charging it. Yes there are 3 settings but the only one is for makeup or your face; you can only use is the first one which is true daylight. The amber and blueish lights are pointless to have on this. Also, I wouldn’t call this a light, it’s more of just a glow; you cannot see a thing any better with the glow on or off.The only thing good is the mirror and the stand. The battery and light are useless and we’re obviously an after thought because the quality of the mirror and stand get an A+ and the batteries and light are F. Those that went to school when they actually gave out grades will understand!
