Excellent monitor with one caveat
I have to say, I have been very impressed with this monitor. Great visual quality, very crisp and clear images, and great colour reproduction. I’ve upgraded to this from 2 old 1080p monitors (each around 8 years+) and this is a huge improvement! The viewing angles are excellent, no issues with washed out colours or anything like that if you’re viewing it from a. It if an angle. The one issue is there is a little bit of ghosting. The monitor has a pixel response time of 4ms. For me, I don’t even notice it unless I’m really looking for it, and honestly it’s much better than the ghosting I experienced on the monitors this replaced. However, those that are coming from newer monitors, or already have 4k displays with a 1ms response time will probably notice the difference. For the majority of gamers, or those looking to use this more for video editing or production, I doubt this will be an issue, but competitive players may find this to be an issue. Overall, great monitor.

QHD 165hz gaming for Microsoft Flight Sim 2020
The media could not be loaded. I couldnt find much info about this Monitors performance in Fight Simulator so thought I'd share. I bought this monitor to replace my 10 year old Samsung FHD 27" monitor. I'd recently upgraded my PC GPU to a NVIDIA 3070ti so needed this to make the most of the card and achieve decent fps in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 at QHD without going to 4k. I was concerned about getting a Huawei monitor but read good reviews and took the chance. Pleased I did as this is perfect for my setup and I got really nice results. Great picture and very smooth to my eyes. I've attached some simulator footage at full QHD, 165hz refresh with everything set to Ultra. Really nice and a good price. An excellent upgrade for me.

Exceptional Monitor for Productivity
The Huawei mateview is a fantastic piece of hardware with excellent build quality and clean, minimal appearance. When it's all put together, it's simply magnificent. It uses the same design language as Apple's Pro Display XDR.The picture quality is good, with excellent overall colour accuracy and peak (NITT) brightness. It has built-in speakers that don't sound too awful, but I don't use them because I have my own speakers attached. Other aspects Although NFC and wireless capabilities are included, they only operate with Huawei items. The port options are fine, however I would want another USB-C port.Overall, if you want to use this as a productivity monitor, this is an excellent choice. If you want to use it for gaming, I would not suggest it due to its aspect ratio of 3:2 and refresh rate of just 60hz. I would absolutely recommend it for everything else.

Great monitor for office work
I was looking for a 3:2 4K monitor with 400 + nits of brightness as I work in a very well naturally illuminated room. This was one of the few I could find at a reasonable price (bought it from Amazon warehouse for ~£350).I've spent quite a longtime reading reviews about it and you most of the tech reviews I read are correct. In the vast majority, what they callout is the fact that whilst the vast majority of monitors have a brightness drop of circa 10% at the edges, this one is closer to 20%. You do need to be quite used to spot small differences in monitors to actually "see" this and it does not impact your day to day work if you are not an expert gamer or content creator. If you are buying a monitor for regular office / school work, this one is simply great; the brightness; the 3:2 format will make a huge difference. In my case, no more moving around to go around the reflex or the infinite scrolling down to read the emails.Strongly advise it. (time will tell what is its reliability, but it seems sturdy)

Stylish and nice display
Screen is very subtly curved and works well. Bought it due to wanting slightly less than 27", so the curvature works in my favour by reducing the physical width.Has a pretty great menu that's intuitive, accessed by a single analogue stick. Lets you swap DP mode between versions (very important, as my gpu wouldn't detect latest version without the drivers)Only downsides are the stand extends out a tiny bit further than I'd like, so make suee you have adequate desk depth. It's also powered by usb-c, which isn't a bad thing but keep this in mind as the standard kettle leads laying around have no use now.Use for gaming and productivity, the high refresh rate is excellent and in comparison to 60hz very clear to see. Colours are decent, I'm not an artist so can't determine accuracy. Very nice to code with.

The display is beautiful
This monitor is one of those things you need to see in person to give it justice. The colours are gorgeous and the contrast is great. The curve is just the right amount and really does immerse you when you're sat Infront of it. Now, for gaming; it's a mixed bag. Due to it being a VA panel, yes there is black smearing which can be kinda annoying in competitive games but for me, it feels like it doesn't affect my performance and just seems more visual. However, on single player games and movies etc, this monitor is amazing and a must if you want to immerse.Overall, if you're looking for a beautiful monitor that is ultrawide and wanting a mind blowing image, get this monitor. If you looking for a monitor that is only to be used with competitive games, look elsewhere

Great 4k screen that can charge your laptop AND do the display with a single USB-C
Great 4k screen that can both charge your laptop and do the display with only one USB-C cable. 4K looks fantastic (although this isn't OLED), the inbuilt speaker is both very loud and very high quality + works seamlessly (great for me as I switch between a self built desktop which doesn't have speakers and my laptop whose speakers aren't brilliant) and the touchbar to change settings is incredible. If you are doing display via USB-C you will find that you now have extra USB slots that you can plug accessories into.Very high quality build, with great hight / swivel adjustment options.CONS: none really, other than it runs hot
