Useful flashlight.
Bought it after watching several reviews on YouTube. On turbo, this little torch is certainly dazzling with an amazing throw. But heats up pretty quickly in that mode. The medium mode is perfect for normal use. Yet to guage the battery life as I haven't used it extensively. Could give an update on that. All in all, pretty impressive for its size on first impressions. Certainly expect it to last as the build and finish are first rate. ** Review after 2 years of purchase. The video I posted doesn't do it justice. The only complaint I have is the switch which is almost flush with the body. Results in seconds of fumbling around with your thumb trying to switch it on in the dark. Glad I haven't had to use it in emergency situations which would require a quick response. Otherwise, it's still a dandy and bright (I mean bright) little flashlight.

Not upto the mark
As mentioned in the manual of the torch the throw of beam should be 680 meters but while testing on ground the throw is 200 to 260mtr max. Further the torch is getting very hot while in turbo mode. Hence returning it.

Getting heated
Light is okay but it starts heating instantly

Extremely bright, great throw, great battery life, for the size of this light it really is one of the best bang for buck! Compact enough to wear on your belt without really feeling the weight of it. The levels of brightness makes it very versatile. I mainly use it for boating at night, the long throw allows you to see objects far away that a traditional flood light cannot achieve. My only negative experience is it gets pretty hot when it’s in turbo mode for a long period of time.

Full Palm size flashlight. Plenty bright. Shines farther than really needed. Built solid. Everything works. Will use it next to bed. Controls easy to learn and understand. Not much difference between high and turbo. That’s a good thing. Longer run time. Nice white light. No magnet on tail but stands up without issue. It’s a nice flashlight, not weapon. Strobe is blinding. Would buy again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've purchased Thrunite flashlights before and I love them! they work great, hold a charge for a long time, and provide a level of brightness that helps you see things clearly.

I have had this light about a year now and use it fairly regularly. My most common use is in walking the dog at night in a rural area with absolutely no other sources of artificial light around. Build quality seems fine, and battery seems to run a reasonable amount of time on medium setting, which seems to be the sweet spot for most normal use. This light is very much a "thrower" rather than a flood light. That means you get a concentrated beam that reaches out a fair distance, and a secondary, much dimmer, wide area surrounding that central beam. It is the kind of beam pattern you want when you are mainly trying to illuminate things far away from you, rather than a broad area close by. You do still get enough close in light that you won't trip over a rock, but probably 90% of the light is in that central beam. Build quality seems solid, everything seems to be made of aluminum, etc. The switch is adequate, a little small and a little hard to find in complete darkness. The switch has a very small, very dim LED in the middle of it that gives you a simple color read out of the battery condition. If it is still blue, you are good to go. The good news is that even if it turns red, you still have a fair bit of run time to get back to the house before it quits on you. But you do need to get into the habit of looking at the color of the little LED every time you go out with it, and it is deliberately set up to be very dim so it isn't annoying once you are outside and in complete darkness, meaning it barely shows up when you are still inside or under your porch lights. Fortunately, it does illuminate continuously when the light is on, so you can always easily check the battery condition while it is running. It is not pocket friendly, it is much too big and heavy for that. But for a more standard-sized flashlight, it is relatively compact given the performance it has. It does have a heft to it, but it is not something that is going to be annoying to hold for lengthy periods of time. Given what it can do, I think it is a reasonable value for what it costs. Just be sure you want a thrower rather than a flood light, because this is very much focused on distance work, open fields, etc. If you prefer comprehensive illumination of your immediate surroundings, this is not the right choice for you. I tend not to take this light when I am hiking in dense woods because its power is largely wasted when everything you can possibly see is just a hundred yards away or so. But I love it when hiking in more open areas where objects are more distant and it really comes into its own.

It's a great flashlight. It's basically the same as the Thrunite catapult mini but with an emitter change and few other changes. I recommend checking the professional reviews but I do recommend it.
