I buy these straps on a regular basis. They are fine.I do have a problem with actually getting them. I ordered a box on the 18th. Five days later they haven’t moved. Requested a refund.Ordered another box. Delayed delivery. The box was missing two when I got it. Can’t return them, I need everyone I can get.Ordered another box. Got to the city I live in yesterday morning. Sat at the warehouse, not delivered. Where are they today? Still at the warehouse. Not on the delivery truck.What is the story? You guys get it right 90% of the time. But when you don’t, you REALLY don’t.

Prepare to get what you pay for. Not sure yet how well they'll do on a long trip, but they can secure a load that doesn't move around too much, ie. something in the car and not on the roof. However, be careful if you really need something to be tightly secured. These are difficult to tighten down, requiring you to open the gate to adjust them. This is very different from cam straps that I am used to, but they are priced well enough that I can work around them with the hassle. Also, there is a small learning curve in threading them through the gate/buckle.I would use these to secure things in your garage, storage, and to keep boxes together.I would not use these to secure things to the roof of a car, to something that vibrates and moves often, and to something that you desperately do not want to lose.3 stars for being cheap, easy to see and use, and coming in a good quantity.Loss of 2 stars for being difficult to tie down and secure, for not having regular cam strap functionality, and for difficulties in threading.

The rope is longer than I expected, so it can definitely help in more ways. For me, I just used it to load more lugage on the roof of my car and it worked well. Definitely worth the price so recommend it.

We live in an area with very high winds (like blowing trampolines through 3 fences), and my daughter has playhouse on our patio. I ordered these straps to tie the corner of the playhouse to one of the wooden posts of our patio shade. It was easy to tie around the post and playhouse and has held up perfectly for months now. I may use the other strap to tie her water table to another post if it starts moving in the wind. I'm very satisfied and will recommend them to my neighbors for their outdoor toys/furniture. I do wish they had multiple lengths because the 16ft is a bit more than I need.

You get what you pay for. I'm not complaining. These serve my purpose perfectly, but know these are light weight/duty and it's clear why they are so inexpensive.
