This was my first phone adapter purchase, back in 2024. At the time, the safety of my newly purchased phone was an important factor. I looked at video reviews and this came highly recommended. I did not regret my purchase. I only wish that it was available at a slightly lower price. It was retailing at about £35.00 at the time. I have bought other phone holders since, as I have multiple tripods. Some of the lower priced tripods do come with a flimsy phone holder. I would not feel safe using those, in case of damage to my phone. The construction of this product is absolutely solid, using metal as the main material. I also love the knob at the back of the holder that is so tactile and easy to use. You just turn it to get your phone to the desired angle and lock it into place with a turn of the locking mechanism. If somebody requires one phone holder to use, hopefully for years to come, I can think of none better than the Ulanzi ST-27. Even if it is one of a few, as in my case, then let this be at the top of the pile as the "ultimate" in the collection.

Very nice build quality and allows plenty of repositioning. The strong spring is , more my taste, stronger than needed which makes it slighly more difficult to assemble with the phone than a lesser strength. But you get used to it.

I agree with all the positive reviews so you should read those. However, 1 thing to mention is the arca compatibility. It fits but doesn't "lock" in place. It still slides left to right. However, as it got a screw head on the bottom I've installed an arca plate to the bottom and now I don't have the sliding issue.

This is one of those products that you didn't know you needed. There are lots of plastic types of these phone mounts which appear at a price point lower than this one. If you want one that will hold your phone securely it needs to have a strong spring. With a strong spring and a plastic mount, I just felt that with the pressure you need to exert on opening the jaws to hold the phone resulted in a lot of bending of the mount which potentially could end up with it snapping as you try. I looked at this unit and immediately decided that this was a professional unit and would last for ever. It's lightweight, strong and looks beautiful. Its quick and simple to fix to a tripod or monopod and once fixed is as solid as a rock. I'm confident my very expensive phone won't drop off and hit the floor. You have three different screw attachment points which may prove useful and places for adding three extras like lights, microphones etc and its strong enough not to bend with a big video light. You have infinite minute adjustment for angle and it switches easily from portrait to landscape and its easy to keep the horizon straight. Its an excellent unit and worth every penny. If you're bothered about price, its just the difference between the plastic one and this one and it all comes down to an extra £10 for supreme safety of your £1k phone.

Really nice little phone holder for a tripod stands. I have been using this on an iPhone 14 Pro Max and straight out of the box and into your hand you know you’ve bought something that is well made and very reasonably priced. It’s a metal construction, the locks are strong and stay in place and there’s a detect when switching between portrait and landscape so you know when you have it in the right position for shooting. I bought a second one because of how good the first one was, it gives me options for adding other cameras when recording footage for my daughter’s business. I read a lot of reviews of this and other holders and I was immediately drawn by the positive nature of most reviews and how much more positive the reviews were vs other phone holders. My phone feels secure in it and I have no worries about pressing record and leaving it while operating my DSLR, I use this to capture other angles

Top quality. You get what you pay for and I’m VERY picky!!

Used with a Pixel 9 Pro (a relatively bulky device). Given that this is a general-purpose widget, not designed for any specific model of phone device, I have found it to be well designed and effective. Once the mechanism is locked, it holds the phone firmly. So far I have used this in three different ways: (1) Mounted onto a quick release plate, for tripod use. (2) Screwed directly onto a handle (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07332SM8W) (3) Free standing on a flat, stable surface. The adapter was useful in all three situations, albeit when free-standing there is not much scope to move the phone without it toppling over. It hasn't seen a lot of use but, so far, it has done what I hoped it would do.

This mount is very well made. Feels solid and does its thing flawlessly. The clamp could be a tiny bit wider though to fit cases better.

He utilizado este sorporte de Ulanzi muchas veces con un teléfono de trabajo de la empresa, y ahora lo he comprado para mi uso personal. Funciona a la perfección, es robusto, sólido y, además, atractivo. Si tienes un teléfono móvil grande y pesado, este soporte es la mejor opción, ya que se sujeta firmemente incluso con la funda puesta. Yo tengo una funda Spigen Tough Armor y este soporte se ajusta perfectamente; no se mueve y el teléfono nunca se caerá. Es mucho mejor que los soportes de plástico endebles, que además son solo un poco más baratos. Está empaquetado de forma impecable y elegante, como si fuera un producto de Apple. Creo que quedará muy satisfecho con este producto.

Je suis vraiment ravi de ce... cette pince à smartphone. Rien à redire, je la trouve parfaite. C'est du robuste, tout est en métal, ça sert très fort, donc aucun risque pour votre portable. On peut l'orienter en format portait ou paysage( ou à un autre angle si désiré). Des petits renforts en caoutchouc permettent de ne pas abimer le smartphone au serrage, ou qu'il glisse. IL permet d'être utilisé avec de grands smartphones (ex : Samsung S22 Ultra, même avec une coque). Le ressort est assez dur, donc la mise en place du smartphone, ainsi que sont retrait ne sont pas des plus aisées, mais là, on est sûr que ça tient. Avec le système de double serrage par vis, on est en pleine confiance. Une première bague de serrage (noire) bloque l'angle (vertical-horizontal, 45°...), la seconde (rouge) la pince. En plus, même si je ne m'en sers pas, on peut ajouter des équipements sur le dispositif (micro, flash....) J'adore, c'est un peu cher, mais c'est du bon matériel. Très satisfait de cet achat.
