Keeps Weeds Away in My Garden!
This is the greatest week blocker that I've tried. It blocks 100% of the weeds in my vegetable garden, It would not work well for row crops like beans, carrots, radishes etc because cutting a long row will also allow weeds to grow.I use this in the area of my garden where I plant tomatoes, squash, melons and the like. I cut a small "X" then plant the tomatoes or whatever and the fold the "X" back on itself. The weed barrier allows water through without puddling. Fertilizer can be placed on top of the product and the water dissolves the fertilizer, allowing it to pass through the weed barrier to the soil and plant roots. Finally, I can walk on the weed barrier without damaging it and the weed barrier is heavy duty enough that I anticipate using it for several years.

good underlayment for stone protection
We live in an area which is filled with stone under the ground - so much so farmers would build stone fences on their property boundaries with what came up each spring post-frost heave. With this in mind, I felt I'd use an underlayment to the pond liner material as an extra measure of protection. It's easy to work with and maybe 1/8 inch thick, but the way it's woven makes a good cushion. I tried shocing some pointy shale through it and it would of course deform, but didn't pierce. I wasn't using a whole lot of force, trying to mimic a frost heave. I was building a relatively small Koi pond, and was using native rocks to line the pond. After laying the EPDM liner, I took some of the underlayment and used it as cushion below the pond bottom rocks, to protect the liner just in case, as I was stanging on them while laying stone on the sides. So, good stuff. 4 out of 5 because I have nothing to compare this material to.

Thick, Easy to Lay Don
We have a 20 x 15 pond dug out. We had four people to lay out the underliner and pond liner. We could have done it with one. It was so easy! The liner is thick. It didn't say if the shiny side went up or down, so we put it shiny side down. We didn't even have to pin it - it didn't move after we tucked it. We will see how it holds up, but for now, we are very happy.

Great Underlayment
This stuff is almost Bullet Proof. Lightweight, extremely durable. My brand new Pocket knife would not puncture even with significant force. Difficult to cut with medium sharp scissors. recommend using a Utility knife with a fresh blade for best results

To fix a leaky pond this stuff works great
Bought a 25 X 15 sheet of the product. Covered the bank where the leak was and laid about 4 feet over the top held in place by rocks and steaks. Then laid about ten feet on the bottom of the pond with rocks holding it in place. Then dump a lot of dirt on the fabric. It quickly clotted and sealed the leaks we had. Our pond is no full and running into the overflow.
