Love these little puzzles. Size is perfect for a puzzle a day at Christmas time. They are quite easy to put together. It is a bit pricey, but since I can reuse them every year, I didn't mind it too much especially since they are of good quality. Like the fact that, unlike most of the advent puzzles, it is not something you have to keep out from day to day which can be a problem when you have cats.

Each puzzle can be put together easily in one sitting on a small surface. The sturdy pieces are weirdly, wonderful shapes. The illustrations are equally odd.

This is an AMAZING gift for any puzzle lover.

These 24 puzzles looked super cute. I started with number 1. Then I opened number 2, and the top right corner piece was missing - I did this on my kitchen table and the piece was nowhere to be found, so it just wasn't in the bag of pieces. I did not continue with any of the other puzzles. This is the second time a New Yorker puzzle has had a piece missing, (another puzzle I just bought along with this Advent set had one piece out of 1000 missing). I already own 17 New Yorker puzzles and they have always been complete. What has happened to their quality control?

Buying this was a bit of a splurge, but reading someone else's review helped me consider the added value of enjoying making a tradition of completing the puzzles annually at Christmastime, so I went for it. And I'm happy that I did.I worked a different advent calendar puzzle that was a single 1000+-piece puzzle that I added 42 pcs to daily in the mornings with coffee, and I did the New Yorker daily puzzle in the afternoon/early evening. I enjoyed the rhythm of it, and the varied artwork of the historic New Yorker covers kept things interesting.The quality of the New Yorker puzzles and especially all of the boxes for them was excellent. All pieces were accounted for; in fact two puzzles had one extra edge piece.In 2023 I probably completed 25+ 1000 pc puzzles, and in *every* case, without fail, there was a moment while making the puzzle or when I got to the end that I either thought a piece was missing or that a piece *was* missing. And in 100% of the cases either the piece appeared within the remaining pieces or for those missing at the completion of the puzzle, I would find the missing piece either on the floor or the chair or in my sleeve or mixed in with the mail. And that was me being careful and without pets or children around. Ha. The same was true for the mini New Yorker puzzles. I'd often think a piece must be missing, but yet then it would appear from within the remaining pieces.

Gave this as a Christmas gift. Very disappointed that day 2 was missing 2 edge pieces. It’s is an expensive gift to have this happen
