Great starter board for my 10 year old. It’s very well crafted and put together. It doesn’t fall apart while traveling. Pieces stay nicely on board during play. Compact enough for her back pack!! Great gift for anyone of any age!!! We love ours. Thank you for having such a great product

More bad products being sold. Pieces slide off at a small tilt and there is no way they would stay in place at a vertical tilt of 90 degrees as shown in the photo. Very bad magnetic pieces.Pieces also fit too tightly inside wooden box. Pieces are not shiny and smooth like my old non-magnetic chess set. Small 1/4 inch metal cylinder fell out first time box was opened.Folding wooden chess board shipped in a bag instead of a box, so box was also damaged, but this did not cause the problem or damage the board.AFTER I returned the item and received a prompt refund from Amazon, this supplier sent me 4 emails attempting to bribe me to remove this review. The 1st email misrepresented Amazon by claiming it was from Amazon customer service. Upon chatting with Amazon, Amazon did not send it. The last email offered me $45 to remove my review, which I am not doing. So, this company, Jseraph, is running a fraudulent business and you should not buy anything from them.This is a bad design as they are trying to make a magnetic chess set with a piece of felt under the pieces, and a wooden board with perhaps a metal piece embedded underneath. I had a smaller magnetic set when I was a kid, and the magnets were on the bottom of the pieces which held securely to a patterned metal board with a wooden frame, not resting directly to wood as Jseraph is attempting to do.

very nice board and pieces! All pieces looked great, the squares line up perfectly, and I always get eyes when I start setting it up and pulling the pieces out. I use it as my travel board and just keep it in the box that it came with for protection. A nice carrying case would be cool, but the box does fine in protecting it. Would absolutely recommend and would buy again.

Love it. My 3 year old took over it and keeps getting the pieces in and out of the velvet interior so it's a testament to its durability. LolThe magnets are not the best quality but it's stable. It folds to a decently small size so good for travel
