I dont think so but, if you are spending this amount of money on headphones you really shouldnt be using a built in mic.

You will need an adapter like the one you can use for AKG headphones for mini xlr - 3.5mm. Otherwise no.

Dt900 pro x or the Hifiman Sundara?

I have both and both of them sounds amazing for gaming dt 900 pro x is better ,both are great for headphones . Note that sundara needs good amp

Will hairs still sneak through the vents on the open-back versions and get stuck on the sticky driver membrane or has this been fixed?

The Nominal sound pressure Level of the 900s is 100db (1mW/500Hz). Its a good headphone given the fact that it pretty much works on all electronic devices with no need of an amplifier. (Remember the impedance of the 900s is 48 Ohms)
