Elgato Chat Link Pro Audio Adapter for PS5, PS4, Switch

I recently purchased the Elgato Chat Link Pro, and it has been a game-changer for my streaming setup. Many many streamers console players have tried cable after cable to get party chat to work correctly. And when they found out they needed an Elgato one, take it from me cheap ones do not work period. Now finally 6 years later they bring out an update in both quality, and an extra bit of tech, to stop buzzing when your charging the controller at the same time, due to earthing problems. I also can confirm this to works. But more importantly I think is I had many problems trying to get my party to be hard on my stream, but even I was a touched surprised to see yet again it just worked, perfectly. So all in all, I know Elgato are stupid expensive on all there goods but to be honest this again is a must buy if you need party chat on your stream through controller.

This is now the second one of these cables I have had. The first lasted 3 months before it started dropping sound on the rights(the issue seemed to be at the splitter) the second cable arrived at the end of January and started to drop sound in the beginning of March so it lasted 5 weeks( this time the issue seemed to come from the jack plug that went into the controller. Customer service was very slow to respond after initial contact and I needed up complain to amazon to get it replaced. Will be seeking for a refund this time as other solutions seem to work better for a lot less cost. Can’t fault the Elgato card though as it is excellent.

Item received in February 2026. All was working perfectly for my streaming set up but then around the middle of April, the cable would only work if it was in a certain position. If it wasn't, only one side of my headphones and/or IEMs would work (the right had no sound coming out of it). Annoying.

Must have for streaming via capture card and wanting to hear other people's voices in your videos / stream. Really easy to use, functionality is just plug in and play. Picture quality doesn't matter here it's all about the sound. Cable length is long, one end goes into controller, one end goes into headset, one end goes into capture card. It's elgato so great value for money.

I was having doubt if I should buy this in order to stream on my ps5 to pair up well with my laptop for streaming. It took me 3-4hrs to set up by figuring it out how this wire work. It was totally worth it. Now, I can listen to party chat & while doing commentary live stream at the same time. Luckily, I have the right headphone like with the wired Logitech headset with the microphone on it. I had my Shure mv7 plug in to the laptop. I had the wire plug to my laptop, controller & headphone for this set. For some reason, I cannot hear the audio when I plug into the elgato. It work when I plug to my laptop. I have to set my ps5 setting Audio to HDMI Device(AV amplifier). It doesn't work well with streamlab from my testing. I have to switch to OBS software in order to work. In the end, it is a good additional plug in to save me from headache for not able to party chat while streaming.
