Not really a round handle, but it's round-ED so no sharp edges, but prolonged use is not comfortable for sensitive skin/hands. I would call these medium-quality and fairly lightweight. The size is large like regular forks. It's a good value for the money. I just wish they were more round than they made them out to be. These are best suited for college dorms, a cheap starter set, etc.

Years ago, I got the same item from IKEA, but these are lighter to carry, which might be better for children and some elderly people. Arrived quickly.

I purchased these for my husband, he says the handles are too skinny.. I LIKE THEM, so I use the forks. They go through the dishwasher fine, no marks or spots on them at all.
