great net - use it for salmon off the marin coast
Great Huge Net! I lost the exact same model when someone on my boat knocked it over. I'm going to add external floatation (swimming noodle or similar) to keep it afloat if that happens again! I had the same model for 3 years, and never lost a fish while netting - it's really too big to lose a fish, but also to big to single-handle. We've used if for large salmon (20-30 pounds and over 36 inches) and halibut (up to 20 pounds). The fish look small in the net!

Perfect for musky fishing
Perfect for musky fishing Not the lightest musky net ive ever held, but its close, about as good as a guy can get with a good bag. Although, the sturdiness of this net outweighs that. Best net ive ever used. With the heavy duty bag, hoop and handle, its still as easy to swing through the water underneath a big musky!

Great net for large fish.
First appreciate this thing is HUGE! Not only is it wide it is deep. That being said i used it this season for bull redfish and it accomplished several desired purposes. First, it is so much easier to net the large fish as compared to a conventional sized net. Second, its depth allows you to safely keep the fish in the water while you unhook it. Because these are large breeder fish, I want to maintain their health after the fight of landing them. You can literally hold the net frame parallel to the water and the fish can revive very safely. When it is ready to go it will fight the net and then you just drop the front edge of the net in front of the fish and off it goes. i have put heavy use on it for two month and it is as good as new. If there is a negative it is the room it takes up in the boat. Be sure you check out the dimensions and be sure it is fit for your intended use.. Fianlly the handle stores nicely for transport.

The handle grip wants to slide off when wet.
The product seems to be made well and worked well. The only problem is the plastic had grip is slippery and also wants to slide off of the net handle. I drilled a hole through the grip to match the hole in the handle. I tied a very short landyrd through the handle to hold it on. I also put electrical tape on the open end of the grip for more strength.

Must have for any Muskie fishermen!
This is a must have for any big game fish that you would like to keep in the water! This net is huge!!!! I can't stress huge enough! It is the best quality construction I have ever seen in a fishing net! Wish I could give them 10 stars! Well worth the money. Will probably be the last net I'll ever need to buy!

Rubber cover on handle was ripped/broken upon arrival!
The rubber around the handle was ripped in pieces when the net arrived and it was only held in place by the packaging tape. SMH! It was completely ripped off from the rest of the handle which is very disappointing considering this is new! Other than that the net itself and everything else was fine.
