A solid little projector, great quality for the price!
I was setting up a small gym space in the garage including a new boxing heavy bag that came with a workout program through a mobile app. I didn’t want to use my phone or tablet to try and follow along with the workouts on such small screens and mounting a TV on the wall would have been a pain. The solution I came up with instead was to go with a projector with a retractable screen. After doing some research, I decided to try this projector by Nexigo and I couldn’t be happier with its performance and the setup it allowed me to use. I purchased a separate ceiling mount and hung it upside down to keep my workout space clutter free, maximize the area available and prevent me from accidentally knocking it over if using a floor stand. When it arrived it was smaller than I expected but that didn’t diminish its output and if looks are important to you, this unit has a sleek design. Using the WiFi wireless connection feature was a breeze to connect to my phone so I could stream the app workouts to the projector without having any cords hanging from the ceiling. The remote control makes it easy to turn on/off, select input sources, adjust volume, etc. The only thing to note here regarding features is the focus is a manual wheel on the side as opposed to being able to adjust with the remote. This isn’t an issue for me though because the projector and screen never move from where they are mounted. The first photo I provided shows how I use the projector during workouts…streaming them wirelessly from my phone. The picture looks a little washed out because I workout with the lights on but it’s still crisp and vibrant enough to easily see the video. The second photo shows what the picture looks like with the lights off…very clear and bright should I want to watch any movies/programs or hook up the XBOX outside of working out.The built-in speakers are solid and good on their own but I usually connect either my earbuds or a separate Bluetooth speaker which seem to offer a bit more range in sound. For what I need, this projector is great for the price, size, flexible installation options and quality!

Clear picture, compact & convenient
As a former military officer who did a lot of presentations using portable projectors, I absolutely hated the VGA/HDMI/whatever other cables and the setup process with whatever laptop or other system I had to use. Finally, I have a compact projector with no wires except the power cord that is so simple to use, even this 42 year old technological doofus was able to make it work without having to scour a massive manual! Quick summary of our experience below, the good and bad...but "bottom line up front," it was very good.* Unboxing: Two thumbs up. The packaging was clearly made by people who understand how nice it is to reuse a box without having to be a geometry professor to get the blasted thing back in there, lol. There are two pieces of cushioning: one big one to hold the projector itself, and one small "lid" piece that goes over the top of the projector when you put it back in. The carrying handle on top is plastic but it's sturdy enough that I wouldn't even bother putting this thing in another transport bag -- I'd just carry it as-is.* Setup: Plug it in, push the power button, use the up/down/enter buttons on top to navigate the main screens. Two AAA batteries (not included) for the remote and you're ready to finish the simple setup. Here is one thing that was a bit frustrating: the remote up/down/left/right circle button was really stiff while entering the longer Wifi password. Maybe it'll get better over time as they loosen up with use. Overall, the main screen and sub-menu screens are simple and intuitive to figure out the device/function you want.* Use: -Connecting our devices was a snap. Our family used this projector to stream the new Sonic 2 movie and even though the picture was cast onto drywall, it was very clear and the colors were vibrant. Any frustrating issues we had during use had to do with our streaming service, not the projector itself. The fan wasn't very noisy (although I have some hearing damage so maybe I'm not the best judge of that part) and focusing the screen was super-simple with a large wheel knob. The keystone was surprisingly simple to fine-tune the focus even further -- it was a wheel on the back like a volume adjuster on a clock radio. -The USB ports were kind of tight when pushing in and pulling out our cables for the wired options (we tried out the iOS cable cast function), so I was a bit concerned I was going to damage the connector or the port, but that's probably just because I'm a clumsier fine-motor kind of guy when it comes to tech. -Our son used his Android phone to try out the Windows cast function and it didn't pull up on his settings, but we may have missed a step for switching from iOS phones to Android (we also connected both our Windows and MacBook laptops to try out those functions, and they both worked easily). -We didn't use the AV cable, and I get why they made it short (because I hated cables that were too long) but it might be too short, depending on the table that you would use for a presentation. Maybe not a big deal though because if you're buying this for work then you probably already have your own cables. -The height/angle adjustment was a point that could be improved: it's the kind where you have to unscrew the "leg" to the point where you want it, not a push-button mechanism where it's easier to figure out without picking the whole machine up and setting it down multiple times. -The user manual is brief and straightforward with QR codes on the front, it's concisely written in clear (not broken) English, it's not filled with ridiculous CYA stuff like "don't use this in a pool" and I will actually keep it for future reference.* Breakdown: Again, it's just a matter of unplugging it, putting it back in the original packaging, and using the carrying handle to transport it. Couldn't be easier. I wish the Army had given me a projector like this!* Summary: I am giving it 5 stars because the "cons" were minor issues. If I could have given it a 4.5 rating, I probably would have done that, but overall this little guy is a solid, simple-to-use projector for the price.

Love it
Does everything I need it to. Clear, bright. The only issue is the keystone doesn't work that well. If you keystone it, the top and bottom go out of focus. If you keep it straight it's fine

Excellent, affordable and versatile projector!
The media could not be loaded. The NexiGo PJ10 is an affordable well-made projector. When I powered it on, the interface was somewhat minimalistic, however it was also quite intuitive and easy to set up. I connected it to my phone via screen mirroring and it worked extremely well. The video was high quality, I didn’t notice any issues with resolution until it came to tasks that focused solely on that aspect. The audio was remarkably good; it played smoothly with no choppiness or delay. Even without any wireless connection, the projector also supports a variety of other connection methods such as HDMI, USB and even AV slots on the back, as well as other slots for peripheral speakers if needed. It’s compact nature makes it excellent at storing away the device for future use. The only real issue was the humming of the internal fan, which was fairly distracting at first, however once invested into what it was playing, it was easier to block out the background noise. Overall, the NexiGo PJ10 is an excellent, affordable and versatile projector for a multitude of tasks; with intuitive interfacing and high-quality outputs in a compact package, suitable for streaming videos and giving presentations among other things as well.
