Expensive, but a wonderful treat. Not something you gobble down. A couple pieces and your sweet tooth is satisfied.

Taste just like remembered

My husband is always on the lookout for hard black licorice candy with natural flavor. This fit the bill, and he says they're tasty. They're just a bit pricey to buy for anything but a special occasion!

Recently I purchased these in a candy store in Cape May, NJ and they became my instant favorite. When I ran out, I was happy to see them available from a seller on Amazon. The product arrived quickly but I was disappointed by the lack of intense licorice flavor that the previous batch had. These just seem 'off' and with only about 50% of the flavor. Not the seller's fault, as the use by date is 6/2025. Oh well....

What a delicious candy this is!!! Yum!!!!The only thing is that it’s kind of expensive for its quantity.

Without doubt the best tasting anise/fennel licorice flavored hard candy in the world. Also difficult to find and not cheap. If you have an addictive personality do not order these as they are impossible to stop eating. I am a guilty whole bag in a day customer. No cheap corn syrup- this is made with European sugar syrup. The same exact candy sells for $3.00 in Canada. As if I needed another reason to move there. Brush your teeth after eating and rinse your mouth with water or your gums will disintegrate. Enjoy in moderation!
