From inside, looks like snow on the window
Setup is to simply stick stake in ground, click the remote, and it is snowing! Lots of bang for the buck, I had to purchase a second unit to project on the other side of the house. You may need to play with the settings to get the speed and pattern desired (the default setting looks like a dot-matrix grid). From inside the house, it looks like falling snow on my windows. Would look really nice if multiple houses on the block do it.

Nice Christmas light
I got this light to add to two other Christmas lights to more fully light up my home. The snowflakes are a bit bigger than I expected, but they certainly light up my home!. This light, like all the others, come with a stand for indoor use. I would be very careful if there is a chance anyone could get the lasers in their eyes. Many people say that the laser lights are safe, but the FAA says that lasers shining into the sky can temporarily blind pilots. If they can cause trouble for someone flying 20,000 feet up I think that they could cause problems for people in the same room with them. I used to put these lasers at the edge of my property but after thinking about it I moved them inside the sidewalk so they would not shine into anyone's eyes while walking along the sidewalk. I don't use the timers, I use an Amazon Alexa plug to turn all the lights on 50 minutes after sunset and turn them off at 10pm, so I don't have to worry about turning them on and off every day or setting timers. With Alexa you set it and forget it.
