I understand that items aren't exactly as pictured sometimes but they should look close to the pictures...Not at all as pictured, very dull looking wood, not shiny, but although the scoop was shiny, it was a totally different shape than pics posted. I was very disappointed with this purchase, I ended up returning it...

The container had a strong smell of the wood used to make it, which isn't a bad smell by any means, but makes it unsuitable for matcha until it has been aired out for a week.

I bought this to use as a tea caddy. It has a most horrible, unpleasant odor inside. I filled it with baking soda for a week: NO improvement. I'm not very good at returning things, so I'll keep it, though I have no idea what to do with i t. I DO NOT recommend this item.

Completely different color than the pictures shown. The container was displayed with a deep brown cherry color to it; however mine appeared to just be the sanded wood with no finish. I'm not sure if this was a mistake or if the color display photographs have been altered. Having wood particles in matcha probably doesn't taste very good. It's a usable container, but for the price I was looking for something with a nicer aesthetic

So beautiful, lovely wood grain and color. There is an inner lid that fits well to keep the tea fresh. Love it!

Great container for matcha! Love how it has a double lid that keeps my matcha fresh! Looooove the leaf spoon/scoop as well! I don’t have to find a spoon nearby and keep washing it. Thumbs up! Great gift for matcha drinkers!
