Bella Womens Stretch French Terry Lounge Jacket

Ok, I bought this about a year ago. It was a gift for my best friend and roommate. She loved how it looked, but couldn't fit it. She was a size 8 with a little bit of muffin top and, well, large bra. She decided to turn this into a 'goal' to achieve, so I didn't go through with a return as I should have that I started. She's down 40lb, and into a size 4 now. It still can't fit her, and at this point, I was instructed to burn it.Myself, I'm crafty, so instead it'll get added to the scrap pile if I need white stretchy fabric. Since it's officially retired without being actually worn out of the apartment, figured it was time for a review.Pros: Nice material. Feels really nice, like it could hold up well if worn as clothing. Holds up well to monthly attempts at wearing it. Definitely 'white white' not 'off white' if you're looking for something that is actually white. Other than handling it, and watching a year long saga of monthly 'trying it on', really can't say much for it.Cons: It is not to size as reviews indicate. Size 8-10 for a Medium would probably be correct if it's purchased in the girls section. It might make 8-10 stretched out to it's limit and worn as a body shaper, if you can get it zipped. It's too long for Junior's or Petite. If you want to be able to breathe well enough to do anything but sit quietly and still, you'd be better off ordering a size or two up. If you have any pooch or enough breasts to fill a bra, definitely order up sizes.I'm giving the Medium Bella Womens Stretch French Terry Lounge Jacket a 2 star rating since it's of nice material; but the description and comments indicate that it can be worn by a size 8 to 10 yet does not comfortably fit a size 4 that can fill a bra enough for breathing regularly.

I ordered the jacket in a size extra large, where normally I would wear a medium. For reference I have 38.5" hips, 27" Waist, and a 35" bust. While the jacket fits in the chest and waist perfectly, the hips are a little snug. I would recommend going up to a XXL if you have hips any larger than 39".The strange part about the jacket (and why it is only receiving three stars) is the discrepancy when it come to the sleeves. While the rest of the jacket fits small, the sleeves are incredibly long and roomy. They are just over 26" making them only wearable if I roll them up.Overall the jacket does have nice stretch and a long body but the cut is everywhere making it a little odd to wear.

I love these hoodies! This my second one in black and I also have it in the dark brown. It has a great slim/fitted look w a lot of stretch, and a longer length which makes it super flattering. In addition- it's well made, super soft, and a perfect weight for keeping warm without being overheated.Definitely order a size up.The only reason I've given it 4 stars is because after some (granted extended and daily) use the zipper tends to break, as in get off track/not close. It took 9 months of wearing it daily (with the exception of summer, I seriously live in my hoodie) to happen. With that being said, I still plan on only purchasing these hoodies from here on out. If you're not as hard on your clothes or wear it sparingly, you should get longer use out of it!

This will be the second hoodie I've bought (first one was white, second one black). I favor hoodies that don't look bulky or shapeless. This one is neither of those things. It's fitted, stretchy material that is on the medium-thin side (not poorly made thin, just thinner compared to a normal fuzzy hoodie). The hood is a good, decent size so it's not plastered against your head in some odd way if you choose to wear it. I have yet to have issues with either one in terms of quality, loose threads, tearing, wearing out, etc. (And let me tell you, I literally wear these bad boys everyday and abuse them, so that is saying something.) And for those who are like me and don't like super-short shirts, these are a nice length to cover part of your bum.For reference, I have not ordered a size up. But yes, they ARE very form fitting, so if that makes you uncomfortable, then do so. I happen to like the form fitting look. :)As long as they remain available here I'm going to continue to buy them. Best hoodies I've ever found.

Runs very small. Usually wear a medium, but this medium was VERY tight. Too tight to look right or be comfortable, especially for someone as busty as me. The fabric was thin and coarse, not at all something I would have thought to buy if I'd seen it on the rack. The zipper was heavy, huge and difficult to zip up and down. It was metal, which is nice, but very cheap metal and it got stuck and never zipped smoothly. (It was NOT YKK as advertised.)

I decided to buy the XXL based on other reviews. It really is very long and the zipper is even longer. I just had a baby and trying to get rid of baby weight. I am 5'5" and 160 lbs. The sleeves are perfectly long, it is super soft and I love the material. I actually think it would be a great early maternity hoodie with the way the zipper pooches out on the belly. I think I should have gotten the XL.

It fit well -- true to size -- but it has a very thick waistband, which takes up much of the lower part of the sweatshirt. I am petite so it looked particularly odd on me, not flattering. I was trying to replace a Lucky hoodie that is wearing out, one I wear for casual occasions, not merely for working out. This didn't fit the bill, alas, but it may work better on taller women and for exercising in.

LOVVVVE THIS SWEATSHIRT! It was just what I was looking for, forever! I had bought one similar at a Tjmaxx a long time ago and now I've finally found something similar. I love the length, not too long, but just below the hips. I like the fitted look, however, I do not like to be suffocated, so according to the other reviews I ordered a size up, and I'm glad I did. I'm usually a large so I got an XL which is a perfect fit for my tastes. The hood is a great shape. It is the perfect warmth for fall and also to wear under a jacket. I cannot say enough good things about this sweater, I'm going to order more so I will never run out!
