I give it 2 and half stars actually....
The pads are a hard plastic, not soft rubber. Thats a fail. Infact I think they will MAKE it slip. Definitely changing to real rubber. Absolutely no directions to put it together. I had to look at the picture of it on Amazon to assemble. Its different than the pictures on Amazon also. It has a extra set of holes and a extra bolt and nut I have no idea what it's for. When they bent/formed the standoff part, they over bent it by more than an inch. I had to stress it back an inch to get bolt holes to all line up. Another thing I dont like is it hooks on ladder from the back, which is backwards from every other attachable standoff. When I put it on the corner of my vinyl siding house, it wanted to shift hard to one side. Admittedly there was alot of flex in the corner of my house. I dont think it will shift on most types of siding. I give it two and half stars because the concept of it is good. The aluminum itself is good and thick without being heavy. After adding some real rubber pads to it, including extra pads on the inside of the V itself, and drill new holes to move bottom hooks lower I think it will come in handy in some situations. But all in all I do have some buyers remorse and it didn't meet my expectations. Another thing about it I don't understand is that the bottom set of hooks do not make contact with the ladder rungs. I tried on multiple ladders and only the top hooks make contact. Even in the pictures on Amazon they do not contact. It does fit onto my multi ladder and my 3 piece Werner extension ladder ( can close it completely and snap all latches, score ) its a good design other then it hangs backwards and bottom hooks do not make contact. I think if the guy having these made didnt cheap out and found a better manufacturer and used real rubber and better QC he would have a hit. Till then its going to be a let down every time someone opens up the package.

Made for compact, telescopic ladders! Works great.
This was the only product that claimed to be compatible with my telescopic ladder. The claim was right on. It works exactly as I needed it to. When I'm against a building or accessing my roof, I can position this standoff right where I need it so the ladder isn't against my shingles or marring painted surfaces.

Light and priced right
Very good and great value. The price is great for a 20ft ladder.

Wooble the more you extyend it
Thank goodness I had anchored the top of the ladder to my second-floor balcony with a rope to paint the small trim. The ladder is not stable and can lead to disability or death. One of the steps even tried to collapse on my way down. I suggest collapsing the ladder and extend it again if you have to move it. The idea of the ladder is innovative, but the stability is life treating.

I’m concerned about how many 5 star reviews this ladder has
So let me start with the Pros as there is only one. It is very compact for its size. Honestly that was the biggest reason I bought it. But now that’s probably the least of my concerns. Everything else is pretty much a con. The ladder flex’s WAY to much. Even if someone is holding the ladder, I have never be on one that flexed so much that I was concerned that It couldn’t hold my weight. I’m not a large person either by any stretch. I’m just 5ft 7. Slightly below average height. And yet I was concerned for my life only half way up. Forget bringing anything with you. Also I find that for the height, the ladder should be wider to help with the stability. Lastly be careful lowering the rungs. Easy to pinch your fingers. At any rate let me finish with this. The fact that this has so many 5 star reviews is a huge red flag as a product this poorly designed that you could get seriously hurt using it or worse.
