HDAfrican Dresses for Women Fashion Beading Rhinestone Kaftan Maxi Dress

I’m wearing it right now at a friend’s wedding. It’s very comfortable to wear in hot weather.Church has no AC & it’s in the 80’s coming off one of 2022’s severe heat wave. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on this dress. The fit is perfect, the fabric is good quality & you don’t have to worry about looking too fat or too thin…. Just elegant! Turns out a pal of mine says she has the same dress at home in 2 colors. Mine is purple & looks just like the photos . The only negative is that it’s a bit too long. I’m 5’7” & the dress sleeves & hem were sweeping the floor. I had to do some adjustment gymnastics involving safety pins & double sided fabric tape to make it ankle length. I got size XL because a lot of clothing I’ve ordered is made in China where folks are smaller & their version of large is often smaller than the US Large. Also Amazon recommended I get XL. Long story short I LOVE THIS DRESS !

I love this African dress. It looks like royalty. I only hate it didn’t fit. It was way too big so it looked like a sack cloth on me, but it is a beautiful dress.

The color is gorgeous and the pearls add some flair but if you want to have a waist like the model on the ad photo, you will need to take it to a tailor. The pearls do add a bit of weight to the fabric. I will keep it but get it tailored so I don't look like I am wearing a really long, fuschia tent.

I would recommend this if you’re a big girl. It says one size but I’m average size 8-10 and it was extremely big on me. I had to have it altered.

It was heavier than I ever anticipated. But! That didn't take away from the fact that it fit great. I received a lot of compliments.

I received it today and was amazed at how beautiful it is, my daughter saw it and fell in love with it so I immediately ordered one for her, I’m a bit disappointed that I might not receive it before Christmas.

This is an ugly dress, that I am sorry I bought. It is not an African dress. It is a cheap material from China. It fits me like a tent, even though I am 5 feet 6.5 inches & weigh a bit over 180 lbs. I did not want to pay shipping fee to send it back, so I am in the process of altering it, so it is wearable. I do not sew, so if I cannot find someone to fix it, I will just donate it to Goodwill. I cannot wear it as is. The colour style and everything about it looks very different from the picture. This was false advertising I do not think I got what I paid for based on the picture and description.I was able to return this dress with free shipping & was credited.

The fabric was too soft for all the details. It was a rather large one size fits all. Shortening would damage the design.
