After injury to my leg and losing over half the muscle mass the physiotherapist recommended these, perfect for building the muscle back gradually, pretty heavy when all weight is there but done the job

I have bought multiple pairs of weights and they've all had issues. But these are so far, so good. These weights have thicker, stronger straps so they hold in place better. The removable weights mean there's an extra layer of material (because the filings are in individual pockets that you add into the main casing of the weight). So many of my previous ankle weights have worn through where they rub against my shoe, leaving filings from the weight in my trainers and obviously reducing the overall weight! These have that extra layer so will last longer. Handy hint - every once in a while, wear them upside down so the filings in the weights don't all sit at the bottom. This prevents the weight from sagging down and scraping the ground, which can cause damage that leads to holes and filings in your trainers!

Impossible to get weights back in once removedWeights are sandbags so impossible to get back in once removed from tight space. They rip when you try and cover everything in sand.

because you can take out the weight bags this is really very economical as you only need 1 for 5 different weights
