Saves a great need for timers and works well!!!

My home in our subdivision is rather isolated, with no one behind me nor on one side. I have felt that because of this my backyard is particularly vulnerable to a break-in if one were to occur. These motion-dectector bulbs have given me more peace of mind that they might deter such activity. Once the bulbs sense a presence they come on, shining brightly and illuminating my whole backyard. They are a welcome addition to my security upgrades.

Seem to work great but I still have to turn my light off and on again every evening to keep this going on at dusk. Could be my fixture but my switch is on and the bulbs don’t come on the next evening unless I do that.

Many dusk to dawn bulbs have the photocell on the side of the bulb. That’s fine if the whole bulb is exposed. I needed something that would work in a recessed light fixture. This bulb has the photocell behind the glass of the bulb so you can fully screw the bulb into the fixture and it will still detect light correctly. Exactly what I needed and works great! Seems well made. The light nice bright white.

These dusk to dawn lights work perfectly. A little bright but still work fine

The light is very white with little warmth. However, they will give you good light on the outside of your home. The dusk to dawn feature for this price seems like a good deal.

This product is advertised as having a sensor to light only dusk to dawn but the sensor does not exist or does not work.
