Love this item, it has some weight to it. The lid works well (as in it props open easily and you can pull it all the way back without issue). The paint work isn't perfectly neat, so I did have to touch up around the teeth. But I gave this for a gift and they loved it!

Looks just like the photos. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hinges are very small, the lid is very heavy, and there's nothing to prevent it from being opened past the magnets, which seems like it will snap the hinges.

It's a pretty large item for holding a single set of dice. But: this is the most joyfully silly celebration of a mimic. Makes me smile every time it catches my eye.

This is the coolest thing in the universe. Also it's well made and whatnot, but yeah. So. Very. Cool.

If your curious like I was, it holds about 3 or 4 complete 7 piece dice sets inside. It looks awesome and I'm quite a fan of the magnets placed to hold it open about halfway. I'm such a fan of mimics in general that I had to get this when I saw it.Slight minus points for the lack of any kind of catch on the box that makes this definitely more of a display piece than anything you would want carry you dice in between sessions - nothing to stop the box opening and spewing dice everywhere.

So, the chest itself is good, but when I took a good look at it I saw that one of the FRONT teeth was broken, I searched inside the same chest, delivery box and packaging and I did not find the missing piece. For the price (which is not exactly cheap), it does not seem right to me that something is broken. Besides that this was a gift and I don't know if I can give it like this.

The box itself is GREAT, the design is cool and it is just the perfect dnd dice holder. My only issue is that the paint on the teeth and gums has soort of blended a little. There is some teeth paint on the gums and vice versa. There are also air holes in the teeth where they didn't get the air bubbles out and now there are slight dots.Love it overall just disappointed in the paint job

I love mimics, and this thing is just beautiful. Without a doubt one of the more gorgeous and functional items I own. I use it as a dice jail when my little rollers decide not to be helpful.
