Great playpen for a big area
So I’ll start with my one big complaint with this- the setup is difficult. They don’t provide much instruction for setup and it’s pretty easy to get confused. Making a mistake is exhausting because the pieces fit super snug together. I wouldn’t have a problem with that except I messed up a couple of times and it was very frustrating trying to pop the pieces apart to change them. The instructions need improvement. On that note- this thing doesn’t come apart easy so if you’re looking for something you can put together and take apart constantly, this isn’t for you. As a permanent feature in a room, I love it.On to the things I really love, this thing is very spacious. I can fit up to 3 adults sitting inside with the baby and still have plenty of room for her to roam. It’s the size of a queen mattress so I bought a queen sized thick mattress pad to lay on the bottom and it provides that little bit of extra cushion for when she takes her tumbles. Once my daughter gets older, it will be turned into a tent with a queen sheet spread over the top.The gripping hooks are great to hang toys on. I have my baby’s toys from her playmat moved to hang on the hooks now and she loves it.The zipper sides are something to be a little wary of as I’ve only used them a few times but could see them breaking if not handled with care. Luckily, they only unzip from the outside so little fingers can’t grab them while inside the pen.The pen comes up to about waist height so you don’t have to worry about it being easy to get out. Even with my daughter trying to climb the sides, the slick material prevents her from getting any traction to lift herself over.It has suction cups on the bottom so it can be a bit of a pain to move initially. The weight isn’t too bad so moving it once you’ve popped the suction cups from the floor is fairly easy. Two people can lift it and carry it no problem. One person dragging it would have a harder time but it can be done by laying it on its side to drag.

Safe, soft, huge
Decent buy! Here’s what I found as the pros and cons so far…Pros:- lightweight- pretty easy to put together. Was able to assemble by myself in about 15 min while my little one was crawling all around me. The instructions were easy to follow by looking at the pictures and the labeled bars.- looks modern and not a complete eyesore in the living room. We got the light gray.- the mesh sides!!!!! They are so soft. Baby can’t bang head, and it’s completely see through- large! This thing does not feel like baby jail, plenty of room for a baby to crawl and explore. Can also keep a toy basket inside or a baby gym inside still with lots of room to explore. Also I can very comfortably fit in this with my 8 month old to entertain her or get some computer work done when she wants to be near me but also play and crawl.- the side removable handles (serve as great chew toys before baby is ready to use them to pull up- they weren’t kidding when they said this thing is sturdy. I can sit on the side rail and use the pull up attachments without any budging. Not worried about the baby in there for a few minutes while I cook or do laundry etc.- has suction cups at the four corners on the base so it doesn’t slide on the floor- easy to load baby in over the top or through the side zipper doorsCONS:- it’s not actually portable like the description says. Which isn’t a problem if you plan on it being in one location. Sure, you can move it because it’s not nailed to the floor, but it’s so massive you can’t squeeze it through door frames etc. without being annoyed- once you set this thing up in a room, you probably won’t be moving it around much. It’s light tho, so if u wanted to slide it around within a large room or open concept house you could.- the floor frame bar is a bit hard so when baby is crawling through the door opening it’s a little hard. Not a huge con, I just lift the baby up over it.- zero fooor padding. would be nice if it came with a fitted foam play mat. We just ended up sticking our playmat inside of it. The dimensions weren’t exact but it works fine.

Super huge and durable play pen for kids
I’ve always wanted to get a big play pen so my kids can play and be safe but with the first two kids, we live in an apartment so the living room was small so we didn’t get one. With a third baby coming soon in a few weeks and we are moving to a house, this time we feel compelled to get a play pen for the new baby and the siblings to play together. I’ve searched around a lot before deciding on which play pen to purchase and decided on this Dripex play pen. What I like about this play pen:-the size of the play pen itself is HUGE! I would say it is about the size of a queen mattress.-the color gray since it is gender neutral but not too dark of a gray. It is light gray so it looks bright and clean-the breathable mesh material makes it easy to clean and also allows you to see the kids from all around throughout-the double zipper, this makes it easy to open from inside or outside-the suction cup for each of the bottom corners. These are quite strong!!!-the bars are made of steel so they are very strong and durable!-there are five hand grips included so if you have small babies they can use that to pull up and stand! Very helpful! Now, I do wish there is padding on the bottom of the play pen but this one doesn’t come with it. You can add a cushion mat inside the play pen or beneath it on the bottom outside but either way should work and should have something soft if you have hardwood or tile flooring. We added some pillows so far but will put in a cushion mat later. The play pen comes in a small box, not too big, with all the pieces and it has a bag also if you want to dismantle and store it away. Installing this did take a little long for us, probably a little over 30 minutes. It was easy to assemble but I guess it took a long time because of the multiple parts.Overall, we enjoy this play pen so far and can’t wait for the new baby to play in it with the other two siblings. We thought the price is decent and not overpriced when comparing to other brand. Hopefully future updates will include a padded mat of some kind though.

Very sturdy, light color shows dirt
This is a very sturdy playpen. The instructions are easy to follow for setup. It’s a nice size - a great way to contain allllll the toys. If I remember correctly, one of the other comments mentioned fitting a queen bed in it and I definitely believe that one would fit. We were able to wash this in the washing machine with no issues. If you have tile/wood flooring, the bottom corners have suction cups to help stop the playpen from moving. I love that a carrying case was included. Here are a few things I didn’t like.1. It’s not necessarily hard to put together and take apart, but honestly it’s not something I would want to do regularly. I’m definitely not taking it apart for a weekend trip to grandma’s house.2. The light color does not work for us. We get dirty hands and tootsies from running all over and getting into things. This dirt tracks to the playpen. We were definitely starting to see all the places the little one regularly grabs. I’m not sure wiping it clean would have worked and as noted above, I’m definitely not taking it apart weekly to wash it.3. There is no padding for the bottom. This is a bummer for us because our floors are tile. We added our own play mat (which of course doesn’t have the same dimensions so looks a little wonky) because we didn’t want her to fall while playing and get hurt. She uses toys and the playpen sides for leverage to climb up. It would be an ouchy fall.Overall I think this is a great product, but would not buy it again solely because of the color.*My husband is definitely in the playpen in that picture. Ha!! We just PCS’d and seating is a little scarce until the couch arrives.

Peace of mind! Useful for a long time!
Since setting this up yesterday, we keep asking ourselves why we didn’t get this sooner. We have a very open floor plan and both work from home, with a very active baby! She’s 8 months old now, an avid crawler, and starting to show signs of walking soon. We’ve been juggling mommy/daddy daycare while trying to keep things running, and it was exhausting. We’ve LOVED having a safe space for her to openly play in. We positioned our couch to be near the playpen so that we’re close. She happily plays in there for long periods, and even longer when we’re in there with her. I put down a mattress topper to cushion the bottom and it’s worked out great - she’s taken a few tumbles as she’s working on standing/walking and the topper protected her perfectly. I figured that it would be nice to have now for giving her a safe space to play, and eventually use to close off a queen mattress to transition her to a big kid bed. We have no regrets minus not getting it sooner! We’re able to get so much done and just feel so much less stress.Set up was pretty easy! I would suggest figuring out where you want it (make sure you’ve got the space), lay out the fabric/mesh part, then lay out all the pipes and connectors where they would generally go using the numbered diagram on the postcard in the package, then start feeding the bottom and upright pipes through, connect the bottom T connectors, connect the bottom corners, then feed through the top pipes and T connectors and corners. Don’t forget to Velcro and zip the fabric piece (which is nicely cushioned FYI). It took less than 20 minutes for two people. It is super lightweight, which is nice for moving it. However, I wished the suction cups did a better job at sticking to the ground. Regardless, this was a solid purchase in our household!
