Very cheap units poor customer service - no response
First mine came with a controller that did not work in 2 modes. Secondly it is impossible to set anything on top of these fans as the guards are very thin and I mean thin. I attempted to set my router (only weighs a few ounces) on top of the 2 units with the fan guard and filter attached. The fan guard presses down on top of the fan and the fan pushes into the filter. The slightest push with your finger stops the fan blade. It is pitiful and not worth the money.Lastly this is another electronic device coming out of China that does not work out of the box for me. I am 0 for 4 at this point this year and aggravating when there is no response from their customer service. You would think they would have someone checking to make sure they work before boxing up to send out to the world. No quality control.Waited over a week to get this and now it looks like I'll have to send this back and wait again to get from someone else. Buying online is becoming a real PIA!Received 2nd device today, same issue as first unit, the controller does not work in medium or low mode. Company issued me a small refund for my trouble which was a nice gesture. Would have been nice if the second one worked.

Would be great if it didn't stop working!
I bought this with the intention of cooling an Asus Tinkerboard set up for emulation purposes. I originally installed the Tinkerboard into a Retroflag MegaPi case intended for a Pi3. The boards are the same size and it fit in the case no issue, however the heatsink on the Tinkerboard prevented me from installing a case fan. It's, for the most part, fine on air cooling -- but it still runs on the far end of the warm side.I figured putting a big ol' 120mm USB fan under it to suck out all that heat would be a great idea. I bought this fan and it brought the temps way, way down. Dreamcast emulation didn't set the board to nuclear temps anymore! However, there are two knocks against this:1. It's completely loud. It almost sounds like a VCR rewinding but worse. You'll hear this no matter what you're doing.2. It will absolutely, under any circumstances, stay powered on. When hooked directly to my Tinkerboard with a 5V 3A power adapter, it poops out maybe 15-20 minutes running. When hooked to my powered USB hub, the same thing happens. To make matters worse, the fan control switch included only works on "High" settings. "Medium" spins so slow you could probably cool off your device faster by blowing into it with your mouth like an NES cartridge. "Low" is just, well, dead. This just isn't worth it. Trust me, I'm returning it after 3 days.

Horrible quality, bad design & false advertising
(1) The screws and footer are not the same as the item shown here and the manual so assembly will be a trial and error. (2) No mention or marking on the fan shows which flow the air goes, which is very important when assembling (3) The "filter" is useless and should not be installed because it either dramatically reduces the air flow if placed in out-flow or gets sucked in by the fan if placed into the intake. (4) Controller is useless because its already really a slow CFM at full power. Specs says it runs full at 1800 RPM/56CFM, in actuality is less than 700 RPM at best when tested.See the only instructions you get here:

A good idea gone wrong
Pro’s1) delivery was fast as always (Amazon)2) well packaged and simple instructionsCon’s1) had to assemble2) chap materials and super low budget fan3) single speed function, full power or off4) ISB speed controller does not work as intended, high or off5) Reducing speed it shuts off, even tried 1.5 and 2.1 amp usb power, same results6) very noisyFinal overviewInsufficient air flow with filter, single speed, noisy and the fan is unbalanced so there is a vibrationNot what seller promised.Save your money or buy a different product.I don’t recommend this,Fortunately I have another 120mm fan that I replaced the unit with and adapted it to a different power source and at least I can use the case and I’m able to keep my router cool

Its a fan....from China
So, Im not sure what the intention was with this fan but, the controller doesn't work on 2 out of 3 modes. The grilles restrict too much airflow. I had to glue the feet onto this thing. The screws were worthless. The filter medium is garbage. Chinese engineering, I guess. Its a noisy usb fan...that's all it is. The instructions are worth a good laugh as they are written in broken English.

Loud cheap fan that died in less than an hour.
TLDR cheap, loud fanPro:moved air while alive.Cons:Loud - sounds like a grinder and made sure blades weren't touching anything on a table standing upright against nothing. Higher speed reduced grinder noise but still loud.Lifespan - died less than an hour after useClosing thought - the product says you have nothing to lose, but you will waste your time and money on this. My over ten year old thermaltake USB fan makes way less noise than this and still works for my consoles whenever I want it. My USB fan from tar get works better and it is decorative.Bottom line, this things in the low bar to pass that a paper fan can even achieve.

Keep your device cool with this quiet fan
This fan is perfect for small electronic devices that need cooling. The fan is cool and quiet even on it's highest setting. I have an android box and it keeps it from overheating. This fan can lower temperatures on an android box by up to 10 degrees cooler or more depending on what type of box you have and how the vent holes are placed by the manufacturer underneath the box

Low quality junk
This was total junk !!! One fan worked on high (barely) —-on med. very slow and the same on low. Thought it may be the controller so I hooked it directly to usb and acted the same as on high. I have had a few different fans before and this one is very low quality. I even tried a different USB port. Larry

I wouldn’t buy it again & would return product if it wasn’t a hassle.
Product is of average quality. Upon delivery, one of the fans was making excessive bearing noise.Compared to equivalent fans, they are expensive. You need to put the fan together using screws and screwdriver. Unfortunately, one side of the fans doesn’t have screws & feels flimsy-like it might not hold-they have a plastic tab on 4 sides that are supposed to clip it in.
