The tap-in console works very find with my TAMRON 24-70 mm lense. At first, I started to update the firmware and works smoothly. The next step is to calibrate the focus of the lense. Although there was a delay in the delivery due to technical problem from the shipping company, i am still happy as it meets my requirements from this little guy. Minus 1 star due to delay of delivery. I will recommend this item and the seller.

Ich benutze das Dock seit einigen Wochen. Als Objektive habe ich das Tamron SP 35 und SP45 im Einsatz. Beides sind Objektive aus früher Produktion (das erkennt man natürlich an der niedrigen Seriennnummer) und haben noch eine alte Firmware (V1), die noch nicht kompatibel mit de Tap-In Console ist. Zuallererst mussten deshalb die Objektive zum lokalen Tamron Service Partner eingeschickt werden, um die Firmware auf V2 zu aktualisieren. Bei neueren Objektiven ist dies nicht mehr erforderlich. Die Software des Gerätes arbeitet einwandfrei und schnell. Justage-Aktionen wie bei meinem Sigma-Objektiven sind nun leicht und schnell erledigt obwohl ich bei beiden SP-Modellen 45 und 35 keinen Grund zur Justage habe. Der Fokus sitzt mit meiner Nikon D750 absolut perfekt - und zwar immer. Die Tap-in Console ist sehr gut verarbeitet, der Kunstoff wirkt sehr solide. Nun bin ich mit meinem Objektiven für die Zukunft gerüstet, Firmware Updates und somit eventuell erforderliche Anpassungen an neune Kameras können kommen! Den Preis finde ich etwas überteuert, im Vergleich zum Sigma Doc.

Lo compré para calibrar el Tamron 7-200 G2, y no por gusto precisamente. Se ve que la tónica habitual de Tamron es que te vendan un pedazo de objetivo a un precio muy competitivo pero que si quieres disfrutarlo del todo, te gastes la pasta en comprar la consola. Y aquí es donde aparece el problema. Cómo se calibra correctamente? Me ha costado horas y horas encontrar la información en internet. He tenido que visitar mil foros y verme mil vídeos para poder usarlo correctamente. Y ese es el fallo fundamental de todo: la sensación de dejar al consumidor a la deriva, y que se busque la vida. Ahora sí, una vez (y después de días de pruebas y más pruebas) consigues calibrarlo, menuda diferencia!! Sobre todo en una focal larga como la del 70-200 en la que la profundidad de campo es siempre tan reducida, que cualquier mínimo desajuste de foco se aprecia muchísimo, y más con los sensores y la definición que se consigue con equipos profesionales hoy en día. En fin, recomiendo a todos los que vayan a comprar los nuevos objetivos Tamron que se hagan con una, eso o prepararse para probar más de una copia, mandarla al SAT, etc. Un saludo.
