See below for details: The scanner MK900-BT arrived, and it was slightly used and already registered. I bought the unit on sale and Amazon does not have a replacement policy. They were going to simply refund my money, and I would have had to purchase another unit at full price or wait for another unit to go on sale. I contacted the seller via email [email protected] and explained the situation. They responded the next day and apologized for the mix-up. They said Amazon fulfillment probably checked the unit when it was returned, and thought would be OK to send out as it was still in the original packaging. The scanner worked fine, it just had some minor scratches on the screen protector, and it looked like it could have possibly had something spilled on it. I did not want to take a chance on that. Autel Tech offered to simply reregister the MK900-BT in my name or replace it with a brand-new unit. I chose to replace it with a new one, and they did not hesitate to send me a prepaid shipping label to return the used scanner and once they received it, they shipped me a brand-new unit. They even offered to send me a free accessory for all the trouble. I would not hesitate to purchase something from this seller again. The seller is Autel Tech. Working with this seller was better than dealing with Amazon. Thank you again Autel Tech for standing behind your products! The scanner is very nice. Easy to setup and use. The Bluetooth (BT) works great. I highly recommend BT over the cable. You can close the vehicle door and take the scanner all the way around the vehicle with no issues at all. I have used the Autel MK808-BT a good bit in the past and it works great. The MK900-BT does all the same features as well as many additional features. It also supports DIOP and Can FD out of the box. The bidirectional control works great. You can pulse fuel injectors, cooling fan relays, AC clutch, fuel pumps, window regulators, etc. if the vehicle supports these functions. This is a very nice feature packed scanner for the money. It seems to do everything that is advertised. I have used it on different make/model vehicles as old as 1998 and as new as 2017 and it seems to work fine on those models. Autel maintains software updates regularly. Updating the software is very easy and strait forward. Bottom line: If you are looking for a good service tool and GREAT service after the sale, you cannot go wrong with this one!

So I bought this as a gift for my younger brother, who is a mechanical and electrical engineer. He’s all about cars. I shipped it to Jamaica, and it arrived brand new. He registered it and said it’s been working like a charm, and he’s impressed with it. He said it was easy to set up, and the software updated really fast. He also said it has been compatible with all the cars he has worked on since. I will update again if it gives any problems in the future, but so far, he’s happy.

Ordered this to replace a SnapOn Modis scanner that I can no longer update. Don't do repair professionally anymore, so the price was right. Easy to setup, install updates and to navigate the screens for various functions. Decent bokt up speed, not lightning fast, quick enough though. LOTS of vehicle makes available, including a large amount that a US mechanic will never see. Have used it on 14 different makes and models so far, from basic code scans, brake replacment, timing, and diagnostics. Works very well, auto scan feature is nice, no need to look at year make model, VIn scan has been right every time. Bluetooth module has worked seamlessly. All around the vehicle and with the tablet in my toolbox hutch, never have lost signal. Worth the money if you have the skills to use all the available live data, codes and bidirectional controls.

It is a very easy to use machine but quite powerful for the functions it is set out to do. I am enjoying it

This tool has the capabilities of much more expensive brands at a very reasonable cost. Being able to monitor real time data, and program trim codes, control functions such as fans, fuel pumps, a/c compressors, and many other functions makes diagnostics and service much easier, for instance commanding a fuel, or DEF pump on to drain the tank for necessary repairs. Customer service has gone above and beyond to help educate me on the tool, and make sure i am content with my purchase.

I have used both Autel & Snap On for about 15 Years and when it came time to buy my own for at home the choice was easy. This Autel does everything you need and much more. If your buying a Bidirectional Control Diagnostic Tool for the first time this is the one to get. You will want the wireless connector trust me! Just make sure to keep track of the dongle. That being said, you can't beat the value for money on this unit.

When you hear Autel has great customer service you heard right. Multiple emails before the purchase were answered in detail and fast. The main reason I went with this scanner was the customer service and attention to a potential customer. That aside the scanner is a huge step up from what I had previously. I love the BT capability of not having to be tied to the front seat of the car while diagnosing issues. I purchased the Autel MaxiCOM MK900-BT. I am really impressed with what this Autel scanner can do. It has a huge amount of features. Listed below are a few of my favorite features. - It provides you with a lot of bi-directional control. - The pre & post scan is a great feature that helps keep track of customers vehicles issues. - The auto VIN is fast and I have not found a Vin that the MK900-BT will not auto populate. - It allowed me to program my rain sensor after my windshield was replaced. - And it also lets you register your new automotive battery once replaced. - The wireless dongle is a great feature, now I can walk around with the scanner and get to different parts of a vehicle. Seems to work great. Fast response to touchscreen. Fast processing of data. So far Great! Heavy well construction.

Programs and software up-to-date works with all cars up to 2026. I had a launch scanner and it didn’t have the support for the second generation kicks the P 16. I don’t know if they got to update software an hour or not.
