There are multiple shape and sizes some with loops to hold on to and chew. This set offers plenty to keep little hands busy.Having safe food grade silicone teething toys for babies is a must. They need to chew to help with cutting teeth and for pain relief. Teethers help make baby aware of his or her hands, as they bring the teether to their mouths, improving hand to mouth coordination. Mouthing objects strengthens the jaw and mouth for chewing and babbling in the future. Mouthing objects can soothe an upset baby, especially if it is teething that is causing the baby distress. This teether will serve a far greater purpose than just teething and will be well received.At the time I ordered this set it was competitively priced at $13. Wow!!! I very much liked the external wrapping covering the box holding all five (5) enclosed teething toys! The extra wrap added a security lining in the objects inside that would be soon in my tiny ones mouth! The box for keeping all five (5) together is an excellent accessory also as putting all in one place to be located later is not an art I have mastered without an area or holder!The individually wrapped teething toys are various in sizes and shapes, with some providing rattling noises to keep the attention going.On the instructions, I found before use listed as a precaution? To boil as shown in the picture accompanying here that has the exact instructions for your reading & thoughts.Honestly? I am sure it's just me? But the part of the instructions says to "not touch the inner wall of the container"? It confused me a bit, but I think it must be intended to be perceived as not touching the actual toy/rattle/teether after boiling due to how high the heat is required? But I felt like perhaps I might have missed something, so I included other's interpretations.Very satisfied with the entire set, and only that term used confused me? But not enough to minimize my approval.

This set of rattles is visually stunning. The saturated purple, pink and green color combinations are vibrant and quite attractive. The shapes are fun, and easy to grip, but the elephant, butterfly and kissing fish are really big...I’m talking 5” across big! Most of the rattles are a mix of hard plastics and silicone...so I do worry that my little one will accidentally whack himself with a 5” hard plastic toy. The silicone parts are flexible and have great textures for teething, and most of the hard plastic pieces have little beads inside them or clacking rings to add to the sensory experience of sound. Note that the kissing fish rattle has 2 pieces that are essentially gears that rotate in opposition to each other...to me this looks like a trap for tiny fingers. I’ve pulled this one out of the set and likely won’t use it. The overall quality is nice, the rattles are easy to clean, and the packaging is outstanding, so very giftable. I love these rattles, but definitely wouldn’t let a child under 6-9 mths near them.

This is a mix of toys and teethers really, with a nice little carrying case, that can also hold other things. The gear toys is a lot of fun, even for my 5 year old. Most of these are hard plastic but they do have some flexible silicone parts to teeth on. The open hollow plastic parts WILL get water in them if you submerge in soapy water to clean them, but as long as you turn it the right way to dry the water will run out and it seems to work fine. I know some people that's a deal breaker as they don't like anything being about to get in. My kids are pleased with these.

These are good budget toys, but cleaning them can be problematic if you like boiling. The plastic pieces trap water inside, and it requires quite a bit of dry heat (like a hair dryer) to get it out.Our son likes the ball rattle and the elephant, but doesn't care for the gears at all (he's probably too young to appreciate it). Some of the parts have plastic flashing that's pealing off... not that it's toxic, but I don't like the idea of bits of plastic being swallowed.

The rattles themselves are a decent size. Three of the five rattles are a little bigger then what I typically expect with other rattle sets. They are cute, and well made. Easy for babies to grasp. Good for teething, and brightly colored. There are sets with more rattles, this one only comes with 5, but it is a nice starter set and comes in a plastic storage case with snap on lid. I would recommend these.

This is such a nice assortment of baby toys! They are individually wrapped and come in a sturdy plastic container - perfect to share or keep :) The toys are made out of plastic - easy to wash; they are brightly colored and all of them are different, so you can rotate them to keep things interesting for your kiddo. The toys are perfectly sized and are easy for little hands to hold (and for parents to pack in a diaper bag).
