This arrived today for use in our annexe where we have an open plan lounge/kitchen diner. The sofa bed provides additional sleeping should our guests need it.I purchased this as it was an extremely good price and had excellent reviews.I am pleased with it, however the back of the sofa is unupholstered - it’s just covered in black fabric and you can see where it’s stapled. This is the first time that I’ve come across this ( though to be fair I’ve never paid such a low price for a sofa before). I suppose this is ok if you are putting the sofa against a wall, but in our case the sofa is in the middle of the room, dividing the two halves and so is a bit unsightly and I’m going to have to buy a large throw to hide the back.I just wanted to make other buyers aware of this as I probably wouldn’t have purchased it if I’d known. Having said that, if you just want an inexpensive, sturdy sofa bed, with storage, then this will do the job and looks pretty smart.I’d also like to say that the whole purchase was made very easy. This sofa was delivered in 24 hours, I had a call/text from the company with an hours time slot and the delivery drivers were very friendly, professional and even helped us move out our old sofa.

I love the look but I mainly bought this sofa for the fold out feature. It's so easy to fold in or out. Guests have said it's comfortable as a bed. It even has storage inside for bedding.As a sofa it definitely needs more, larger, cushions than the two small ones provided. As it is very firm and not ergonomic. Also lacking arm rests of any kind. Which looks great but feels lacking when you are sat upright.It ticks all my boxes but it's not the most comfortable thing to sit on. Overall, it's great value for money.

Firstly I am delighted with my purchase. Having read some of the review I was somewhat apprehensive about ordering. Should not have had any reservations.It is very firm, but not uncomfortable. It looks far more expensive than it is. The bed mechanism is very simple to operate and there is easily enough storage for pillow, duvet and under blanket.The delivery team were very professional, polite and friendly. They looked at where the sofa was going to be placed, worked out the best way of bringing it in and explained the steps before they got it off the van.Secondly, you can buy with confidence. Excellent communication and service and we are delighted with the sofa.If you want a soft sink into sofa, then don’t buy this one. If you want a functional sofa bed which looks good and gives you firm support, this is for you.

This is an awesome and sturdy sofa bed. The service for delivery was super fast as it comes in one piece. Took them 10 mins in and out the front door...not even that.It's super comfortable as a sofa (firm but not hard). It's so easy to flatten to a bed. There's a tonne of storage for quilts, pillows etc underneath (or anything you want to store) and again very easy to get to.I took a while to reply as I wanted to test it out with a few guests. Really firm and comfortable. The only feedback is that there is a gap when it folds flat which is a wedge of 7cm deep by 10cm wide and the length of the sofa. This does make it uncomfortable.UPDATE: I bought a mattress topper which fluffs up a number of cms. That sorts the gap issue. All of my guests have commented that this is super comfortable as a bed. I would say it's for 1 person, it's a real squeeze for 2 people (wider than a single but probably the width of a small double or just less)

* It arrived few days late but that didn't matter as we weren't in a rush -so give them extra few days -then moan !* They have delivered our sofa exactly where we wanted them to deliver - professional delivery guys! Pleasant!*I like my sofas/armchairs SOFT but this sofa is very FIRM , in a way this is perfect as it would possibly last longer? I am hoping... I might have to review my review at a later date for this BUT for a guest or for couple of night sleeps on it wouldn't hurt anyone -surely !*We all love our beds and home comfort - this is a spare bed or a sofa to sit on during the day. Dont get too comfortable and think that you can sleep on this sofa day in day out CAUSE IT IS VERY FIRM as mentioned !* It is STYLISH - colour is fab and COMES WITH 2 LITTLE SQUARE PILLOWS which is fab touch ...Just jazz your sofa up like did - IT WILL LOOK AMAZING!SO far I RECOMEND THIS SOFA BED FOR GUESTS-SHORT STAYS-SITTING ON IT DAY IN DAY OUT ...Storage is generous, you can either store clothing or perhaps bedding for your guests ..IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING -VALUE FOR THE MONEY !!!!!!!!!
