HIQILI Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil for Diffuser, Perfumes, Aromatherapy

This is so fragrant it's absolutely delightful. I add it to so many things. And since the bottle is so large it's lasted for quite a while too.

Smells amazing a drop goes a long way

i purchased this ylang-ylang essential oil primarily for fragrance and perfume formulation. The bottle arrived well packaged, and I like that the product comes in a generous 100 mL size. The included smaller travel bottle is also a nice practical touch. The fragrance itself has the characteristic floral, sweet, slightly exotic quality I associate with ylang-ylang. It has good strength, and a relatively small amount is noticeable when used in a diffuser or fragrance blend. For someone looking for an affordable ylang-ylang oil for general home fragrance or experimenting with blends, this is a reasonable option. However, there is one aspect of the scent that I personally don’t particularly like. Along with the expected floral ylang-ylang character, I notice a slight minty/cooling note. It isn’t overwhelmingly strong, but it is noticeable to my nose, especially when smelling the oil directly. I don’t normally associate that mint-like impression with the ylang-ylang profile I’m looking for, so this is the main reason I am giving it four stars rather than five. That said, scent perception is very subjective, and someone else may not find the minty nuance objectionable at all. In a more complex fragrance blend, it may also become much less noticeable. Overall, I think this is a decent option for the price and the large quantity provided. The floral character is there, the scent has good presence, and the packaging is convenient. My only reservation is the unexpected mint-like note, which doesn’t fit the particular ylang-ylang profile I prefer.

Packaged so well! NOT just the main bottle a smaller bottle with its own stopper. Very impressed! The fragrance is spot on, and for the price this was a great purchase. Very pleased with this quality product.

The smell is so strong, it hurts my head. Even a small drop is enough for whole room to be filled with the smell.
