The Big Picture: Brendan and Erc in Exile, Volume 2

The graphics and the text have met my expectations. There are important phrases written very succinctly and clever to get "the message" across. The characters are "real" in spite of the "environment" they "live in". I'll send a couple of these home with my students for their opinions.

Solid, thoughtful commentary on the foundation of our faith. Probably geared toward early teen through adult. Nothing inappropriate for the younger crowd but the philosophy of the book may be hard to follow for younger kids maybe even more so than the last book. Every beginning confirmation student should read this.

Formative and engaging reading. Highly recommended. Waiting for volume 3.

My ten year old step son is not catholic but is interested in our faith. He loves comics, so I got this and the other Brendan and Erc for him. He actually put down the iphone to read them straight through in two evenings. I'm impressed.

Great catechesis, great adventure, very nice reading. For all ages. Vol 1 is also worth reading. i read with my children.
