Strap in folks! Let me tell you how i ordered this beautiful closet system....and ordered the wrong size. Please learn from my mistake. Measure at the baseboards. I did not and was 1/2 an inch off. I'll post pictures so you can see how certain parts bow out. I had to force them together. When I say force i mean next to jaws of life. This unit is sturdy! I rearranged it how I could so there were give in pieces so I could stick it together. It went together with ease (other than me having to force the pieces that were a tight fit). It would be easy to take apart and move to a different location. So portability would be easy. It's versatile in or out of a closet. Looks nice enough to have put together against a wall not just in a closet. The material is durable. The value for the money is outstanding. This unit has SO much storage options.

I got this to replace a too-small rack and bins. It's PERFECT! I did some measurements to decide which product to purchase. There is more tham enough room for everything I have, plus some empty shelves to fill with my bags or big hats. It's a plus that this was customizable, with two options in the booklet. It would not be hard to customize further if you wanted to. It came packaged very well, no wasted space or puffy packaging. Everything came spotless, no bent parts. This was a BREEZE to assemble, and it was not difficult to change a shelf mid-way, as the unit slides together on couplings. I changed the height of the middle racks twice before settling, and with no damage or need to take apart the whole thing. Heavy-duty, as advertised. While moving the racks as described above, I moved both sets of clothes to an adjacent rack with no bending or bowing. I would buy from this retailer again should I need more racks or an upgrade.

Love this! Very sturdy , as big as I was expecting it to be. really easy to put together by myself. If you’re not very tall it can be tricky putting together towards the end.

I was leery about this purchase due to the many complaints about the “clips” and many pieces to put together, but I’m so glad I bought it! I originally was using a lower quality closet unit that I purchased for our new born for my husband’s clothes once she out grew it. The unit could not support the weight of his clothes and would constantly buckle, collapsing with everything ending up on the floor. I needed something heavy duty and I didn’t believe this would hold the weight of all of his suits, but I was pleasantly wrong! It fit well in the spot we had the old stand which also measured at 71in across. The height is perfect for adding shoe boxes on top or for extra storage. It COULD and DID hold all of his clothes which weighed approx 200lb-300lbs including several shoe boxes and 14 suits (jackets and pants). It took my husband and I about 45mins-1hr to put together. I recommend using 2 ppl to make it quicker, but this is definitely possible to assemble alone. The “clips” were kind of weird. They didn’t completely close, but the instructions mentioned this and said it was okay. I found that if you listen for the click when you slide them down into each other, this works better than just clipping them together like you normally would. I couldn’t find our mallet, so I used a hammer to secure the shelves onto the slips and had no issues with damage. I used just enough force to achieve a secure fit without scratches or damage like some other mentioned. I think we will be buying another one of these as a closet solution until we get a bigger house. Highly recommend.

Thinner guage than I expected, but still pretty sturdy. Good assembly instructions instructions. Shirts drag on the levels below is the only complaint.

***Update. Just a little update. The things to secure to the wall broke. I think it’s because the bottom of my wall sticks out some so I couldn’t get this all the way against the wall so there was tension with it being secured by zip ties. Or that’s the design. (I don’t know) But the closet is still very sturdy without it being secured so I don’t think I need to try and secure it again. I think if you had kids who may play around it, you would want to find a way to secure it. I noticed the more stuff I added, the less wobbly it became. I included a video to show how when I shake it, it doesn’t move that much. There is no fear if it falling over at all. I still give it 5 stars! I absolutely love this portable closet! It was very easy to put together all by myself. It only took a few hours. It would have taken less time but I kept changing my mind on how high and low I wanted the shelves. I love how you can adjust it to what your needs are. The color is beautiful as well. I spent the extra $5 for the Bronze color because I get tired of black and white furniture. I wanted something different. The Bronze color does not disappoint at all. The only issue I had was I didn’t understand how to use the zip tie that comes with it to anchor it to wall because it was already looped in and locked. Luckily I had zip ties so I just used my own. Installing the anchor piece was super easy and I just put a zip tie around the pole and through the wall piece. It is very study against the wall now. I only had to do that because I have cats who get curious so I didn’t want them climbing on it and knocking it over. I did put towels down on the bottom shelves because my cats were trying to lay down on them. They like to lay there and hide now. So they love the closet as well. It holds so much stuff as well. My bedroom closet and dresser drawers were overflowing so I needed something to move some stuff to so I could find things more easily. This is just what I was looking for. It fit perfectly in my spare room. The measurements of the closet were exact. If you are looking for a portable closet then I highly recommend this. The poles and shelves are very sturdy. I recommend spending the extra money for the bronze color as it is beautiful. I did check that I had every piece before I started putting it together and luckily I wasn’t missing anything. It’s simple enough for one person to put together themselves. No tools required for the closet assembly except a mallet if you want to make sure the shelves fit very snuggly on the poles. Hitting the shelves with the mallet didn’t damage them at all. If you don’t understand the zip tie piece like I didn’t, just buy some zip ties and use your own. It was also packaged very well so nothing was damaged from the shipping. Highly recommend this portable closet and if I ever need another one, I will buy this brand.

An excellent product. Pros: Very easy to assemble. Good weight bearing capacity Sufficient clearance for utensils. Lightweight Cona: Plastic floors. Hooks are large and square in shape, and therefore, 50 percent of items don't hang well.
