Adisputent Women's Oktoberfest Costume German Dirndl Dress Traditional Bavarian Carnival Party 3 Piece Beer Maid Costumes

I will be attending a family wedding in Germany this summer and the bride/groom have asked all guests to dress in traditional clothing for the polterabend. I am very pleased with the quality of this item and the fit is as expected per the size chart. It is a very nicely-made dress of a substantial material and appears more authentic and not so "costumey." I didn't want to spend several hundred dollars on something I would wear only once or twice while I was there so I thought this was a good compromise. The only difference from the dress on the website and what I received is that on my dress, there is no ruffle around the bottom of the skirt as in the picture, but just a banding of contrasting material. This wasn't a big deal to me, but just be forewarned. I ordered the Double Blue color in size small and for reference purposes, I am 5'6", about 120 lbs with a 27-28 inch waist and 35-36 inch hips. Unlike some others, I did not find the accompanying shirt to be too small, but I am not large-chested (34B). To me, the whole outfit fits comfortably and is easy to get into since it zips up the front, is a lovely pattern and should suit my needs very well. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice quality dirndl.

I’ve had this for over a year now and have worn to two Oktoberfests. It’s actually made pretty well and has survived the washing machine (in a garment bag). I line dry. I did purchase a petticoat to make it more traditional looking and puff out. I would recommend.

I ordered an x-small. My measurements are: Bust-35, Waist 26.5, Hips-38.Really good quality and will last many wearings.The material is not at all stretchy.It was snug but still fit nicely and worked perfectly as a base for a horror take on Little Miss Muffet costume. If I were to order agin, I'd get a size larger, but was very happy with what I got.

***Update****I re-ordered in size medium, and the fit is much better. It fits well in the bust, and although the waist is a little big, the belt on the apron fixes that.I am 5’4” 115 lbs and wear a C cup bra.I ordered the navy version of this costume, and it was beautiful!I debated on whether to order a S or M, and ended up going with the small. The fit was great everywhere except the bust. This costume was for a party I will be hosting, so being comfortable is very important to me, so I returned it. I may re-order in a medium, but am worried it will be too big in the waist. But otherwise, it is a beautiful costume, and feel it was well worth the price for what you get.

Pretty nice quality fabric with the denim apron and the navy and white check has a nice linen or hemp texture. Machine embroidery is decent. The pink satin tie for the bodice is a little "cheesy" but it works, and picks up the pink embroidery, tying the colors all together. The ties on the blouse are a little lame, as they are thin but will hopefully stay tied and keep the center of the top ruched. Nice knee length. I ordered the XL to fit 34ddd chest, expecting the dress to be a bit too large. The shoulders are wide, which works ok for me as my shoulders are fairly broad, and the extra fabric around the waist is tucked in with the apron ties. All in all a very nice "costume" to wear for Oktoberfest for several years.

This dress is definitely higher quality than you'd expect relative to other options, as other reviewers have stated. It's very cute! It includes the white blouse, dress, and apron. It did not come with a blue ribbon to lace up the corset; that's easily replaceable though. The fit does seem true to the sizing chart. The blouse has a drawstring to adjust the bust, but the arms seem a bit tight. Overall, this is a great costume set and could almost just be worn casually!

I ordered the Medium based off of reviews- and between sizes. I think the Small would have fit. I am 5'4", 125 lbs. size 6-8. This dress is very well made and has a lot of detail work. The apron alone is made up of at least 6 parts sewn together, easily worth $25 alone. The bodice of the dress is lined, and the ribbon allows for adjustment to the bodice. Super cute on and lots of compliments. Wore it to a costume party but now I want to go to an Octoberfest! Would be even cuter with a ruffled petticoat.

The item arrived before the expected date. The dirndl blouse was very small, I could barely get it on. The dirndl itself was lovely and of better quality than expected. I was so hoping it would fit, but it did not. I didn’t remove the apron from the package because I knew It was not going to fit. I selected the size based on the sizing chart and chose a medium which is usually what I wear. I should have chose a large or possibly an extra-large. For reference I’m 5’6” and weigh 138 pounds. Sadly, I returned it.
