This tester works perfect. My old one finally broke and this one was to replace it. I've used it many times since purchasing it and it is great. Quality feels good for the price and it's very easy to use. Would recommend to anyone doing network jobs.

I can't tell you how valuable this little testing unit has been. I was troubleshooting a newly installed Cat6 cable/plug and a wall receptacle/outlet. This Network Cable Tester saved me a lot of headaches by allowing me to check & isolate a fault in a RJ45 connection. A very good tool to have if you're going to be maintaining a Network or making your own ethernet or Cat6 cables.

This device has saved me some headache and cost verifying existing cables for wire damage/connectivity before replacing them. The device is simple, accurate, and very easy to use. The detachable remote piece is useful for verifying and/or finding downstream cable connectors. The plastic build of the device means it's light and easy to toss in a bag, but it also feels a little underwhelming. My only real issue with it is the detachable piece is on the looser side and falls off fairly easily, there isn't enough tension in the slot. I remedied this by putting a piece of masking tape along the inside edge to snug up the slot without negatively impacting its use. If you are looking for something simple, light, and low cost to simply check network cable ends, this will absolutely do the job. There is nothing deluxe about this, which is sort of the appeal.

I bought this tester because I was planning to make a lot of CAT6 Ethernet cables and had no clue what I was doing. This tester has been amazing. It’s very simple to use, just hook each end of the cable to the tester and turn it on. If the lights go in order, your cable is wired correctly. If they don’t, it tells you something went wrong, so you can fix it before getting too far. This tool has been incredibly helpful for catching mistakes early, and it’s well worth the money. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone making or testing network cables.

Had to run a number of new CAT 5/6 cables around the house to bring internet to remote areas. Bought a spool of cable and a bunch of connections. This unit was inexpensive and worth it for this one project to ensure my cable ends would work.

This is a great product! Simple to use, just what I wanted for home/DYI network wiring. Seems accurate, helped me find a bad connector. Recommended.

Great tool to find the matching port or to test for proper wiring. If you are first wiring up some new connections, this will verify that you've done it right. It checks (for ethernet) all 8 wires are connected. After the fact, it will help when you need to trace which port near your router is running to a port in the main area.

Used the tester when having issues with a POE outdoor Access Point. Passed the test twice. Spent a couple of hours troubleshooting everything else. No problems found. Replaced connectors on both ends and back in business. Can't trust this tester anymore, will find something better.

For the price , it's a " GREAT -BUY " This item check the continuity of RJ45 Cabling Cat6 etc. & Phone lines. You "Don't " have to pay $30-$60 dollars to do this type of work for a "DIY" person.

有線LANの速度がとても遅いのでケーブルに問題があるかもしれないと言った記事を散見したので急ぎ購入しました。９V電池が必要です。親機と子機に分離できます。動画は先にスローモード、後に通常モードで撮影しました。 持っているケーブルはCAT６、６A、６準拠、７全て正常でした（長短１０本ほど）。一安心です。ということはプロバイダーが遅いと言うことがわかりました。プロバイダー（光回線マンションタイプ）との３年契約縛りが終わり次第乗り換え決定です。買って良かったです。
